Chapter 2- The First Meeting

As everyone turned around, a deep voice from behind, a cold aura filled the room. It was none other than Liam, Junior's older brother and the cold Mafia leader whom the thugs were looking for.

Liam suggested taking the matter outside, with a cold expression. As the thugs left the cafe, Liam stayed put. The thugs started laughing and taunting Liam, asking if he was scared and couldn't fight them. Liam replied that they weren't worth dirtying his hands for and that his assistant and close buddy, Lucas, would handle it.

Lucas beat up every thug while Liam sat down with his younger brother, Leo, who was Lily's Junior. Meanwhile, Lily was confused about the situation, but Junior held her hand, apologized, and asked her to sit. the three of them sat together and suddenly Leo started yelling at Liam for not being there for him and causing all the trouble. Liam couldn't say anything as guilt took over him.

At that moment, Lucas came inside to inform Liam that everything was clear outside. Liam excused himself and left with Lucas, saying that he had come back to make up for his absence and that he would see him at home. Lily could see that Liam cared deeply about his brother Leo. She suggested that they stop there for the day and asked Leo to go home and not wander around.

Leo once again apologized to Lily and asked her if she was okay she replied by saying she was good, and not to worry about her, Leo said he'd make up for this and invited Lily to his house saying today's dinner is on me, Lily turned down his offer saying "did you forget your older brother just returned after few months? u guys should have a good talk over dinner, it's not appropriate for me to be there" Leo replied "It's alright, after all, it'll be awkward dinner with him alone, if you are present, I'll be comfortable, please take up my offer"

Lily replied, "Earlier did you call me sister?" Leo replied "Aren't you? My older sister? your presence gives me a sense of an older sister who looks out for me and nags me when I'm wrong you're also my one and only friend" Lily replied "I'm grateful that you consider me an older sister and you're friend, not just a senior who tutors you, to be honest Leo you're also my one and only friend, I'll take up your offer and be there on time" "I'll text you my address" Leo said as he leaves...

------Dinner time-------

While Lily is on her way to Leo's house she passes by a donut shop and it suddenly occurs to her that going empty-handed at Leo's house wouldn't be nice after all I'm visiting his house for the first time, I should bring something along, Lily buys a box of donuts and heads towards Leo's house...
