In a world where time was currency, the rich lived forever, and the poor were left with mere minutes to live. The city of Chronos was the hub of time trade, where people bargained for hours, days, and years of their lives. Amidst this chaos, a young man named Kai discovered a mysterious watch that allowed him to manipulate time itself...

He used to belong to a rich family family but his family got destroyed mysteriously about 6 months ago. No one knew why. He only knew that he only had 2 months to live. That mysterious watch was a blessing in disguise for him.

The only way to prolong life was to let a drop of someone else drop on watch, then it automatically became absorbed by it and Kai could see some numbers on it. By adjusting those numbers, he could take other's life span as much as he had adjusted. For this purpose, he got a job in a hotel where rich people used to hold banquet.

At first, he only used it to prolong his life for only a few months. But human greed has no bounds. Every human wished to immortality so how could he not be trapped by desire! His desire take him to the darkness!

He started killing people. He didn't even let go of new-born kids. He killed them in such a way that no one doubt him. People didn't pay attention to it at first but as these cases increased, someone finally started investigating it. But they could not find any clue.

Just as they were about ti give up, the police received a letter. There was only an address written with blood on it. When they arrived there, instead of finding the criminal, they only found a dead body...The body of young man named 'Kai'...........

Recently Kai had been feeling very strange. It's not that he was ill but he felt that he sometime loose control over himself. He finally find the cause....it was because of that watch......

He tried to get rid of it but couldn't. It will always appear beside him no matter how far he threw it. He became scared. But he could not do anything except for gradually seen himself being enslaved to that watch. He killed and killed, but that watch seemed to have never get enough of the desire to kill! One night, finally he couldn't bear it anymore, he cut his wrist with knife that he used to commit the first murder.

With his own blood, he wrote the address and sent it to police. He could only hope that the police could find his dead body and atleast someone could bury instead of letting decaying his body there...

In his last breath, he seemed to have seen his father picking up that mysterious watch in the dark night...........

She woke up covered in sweat and took out the watch with trembling hands. She looked blankly at it for some time the as if she had made up mind, she stood up and left the house after changing her clothes.....

She looked down with some fear in her eyes. On the ground, there was a corpse of an old man and a broken watch was beside him, covered in blood......

The whole city of Chronos seemed to have changed over-night. The time traded system seemed to have disppeared and people act as it never existed. No one remember that once they were enslaved by such a brutal system.....

Among the chatter and laughter of crowd, an old woman passed by. No one paid attention to her. The old woman stopped at a distance and looked at the people beaming with joy....

'This is the right decision...'

She thought to herslef as a tear escaped from her eyes and the disppeared. She turned around and left that place. No one noticed that her skin was gradually seemed to become more wrinkled as time passed.....

Aria had a dream that night....

No, it was not a dream but rather it could be said to awaken a forbidden memory....

She remembered that who was she.....

Her name used to 'Rue'...

Her parents named her this because they 'regret' giving birth to her....

Her name always make her remember that her existence was just a 'regret'.....

Maybe even the god hated her and she was diagnosed with terminal cancer just when she turned 18....

She didn't want to accept this, so she left the hospital....

She first felt contempt towards Kai who could not control his greed and killed may inncent people but who knew that she was the biggest sinner?!!

That night, she killed that 'Magician' or the person who claimed to be the mayor of the city....

Then, finally, everything returned to normal...But she had to pay the price....

She should have long been dead. The time she was alive was borrowed from someone else...she had to pay the price for her sin....

She began to age faster and soon lost her youth....

At the time of her death, she seemed to have seen the young girl named 'Rue' who had just turned 18 and got the news that she will not live long...

She was standing alone there, with disbelief on her face but no one was there to comfort her.....

Maybe if someone even asked her if she is okay at that time then she would have gone to that dark path with no return....

A tear streamed down from her face as her heart slowly stopped beating.....
