"Go to the car." she said coldly, picking up my bag and tossing it to straight to me.

Then I said, "mom, but-"

"Go! Angeline!" She shouted out in fury, pointing out to the gate.

Numerous students that were around kept looking at us, whispering and mumbling things about us. I was shocked at my mom's actions, that was the first time my mom had ever done that, especially in public.

In shock, I walked out the university gates and straight to the car, wondering why her reaction was like that. Entered the car and waited for Mom to get back.

'Oh', I thought remembering something, 'that book he gave me, why did he give it to me? Did he want me to read it or does it even belong to me?' Then, I reached for my bag and took out the book he gave me.

Locked....

'Where's the key? I think he forgot to hand it over to me. And, do I even know him? He seems notalgicly familiar. Or maybe my mom knows him? But how does my mom know him? Where is she? What's taking her to long? What's happening? What is she doing there?'

Many thoughts came into my head but one thing's for sure, my mom doesn't want me to befriending him nor getting close to him, but why?

Mom just exited the university gate. And as she walked towards the car, she looked angry. She came in, shut the door hard, started the engine, and drove away from the university. The car was filled with complete silence as we drove the highway.

A few moments later, I asked her, "Mom, what's the matter?" She answered, "Nothing honey..." As we reach our house the car was filled with complete silence, again.

We entered the house and I walk straight to my room, changed clothes, went to my laptop and started checking my mails. Two hours pass and I fall asleep on the table.

After some time, I woke up by hearing voices shouting outside my room, I went to take a peek and I saw my parents arguing. I listened closely and heard them talking about a guy named Walter.

Was that his name? What's with him that I don't know.

I walked out my room and asked, "Mom, dad, what's wrong?". They looked at me, astonished, and answered at the exact same time, "nothing."

Though, I got really suspicious and asked, "really, what's wrong? You've been acting really weird since you saw him. Is there something that I need to know?"

My parents looked at each other. Mom told me, "no, you don't need to know anything, and there's no problem. But from now on, keep your distance from him. I don't want you talking to him or even getting close to him. Do you understand?" I think my parents are not telling me something but I'll know soon, if ever there are things that have happened I needed to know, then I'll soon know it, the right time will come for me to know the truth, but for now I have to wait.

I simply replied, "okay."

Although, deep down, I know that there's no way I was going to keep my distance especially when something involves me.
