Alison

Two girls run towards us with a guy following them, then he was pulled back by his shirt, crashing to the metallic borders from where the steel walls came from. He then drops to the ground with a thud, but recovers quickly. He regains his footing then jumps high, putting most of his energy at his limbs. Landing on the head of the slimy gigantic lizard, trying to control it from its head, but the lizard resisted and started to dismount him.

Artemis runs off towards the two girls, halting beside them. I, then, see the crumpled wall levitate up the air and crushing towards the lizard as the guy on top jumped landing near the girls. The lizard crashes hard and was push far enough.

"Are you three alright?" Artemis ask.

"Yeah. Thanks." The girl with dark brown pony-tailed wavy hair replies.

"Don't thank us just yet." Felicity say while approaching them.

The two girls looked at her, questionable. Felicity then pointed at the scene. Regaining its posture, the lizard got up, facing us with lust of destruction. Then it screeches.

I stooped to the floor, covering my ears from the painful loud scream of the lizard, as if it were going to explode. The others got ready, their marks glowing intensely. And in that brief moment before the screeching stops, I felt the lizard's pain. Piercing to my body where the lizard was hurt.

Once the screeching stopped, it zooms toward us with anger. Leaping through the air. Everyone runs towards the side to avoid getting hit.

"ALISON!" I heard Crayton calling out. But I reacted too late. The lizard landed in front of me, exhaling at my face. Growling at me.

'Run.' Was all I heard, but I wasn't sure what it meant or who said it.

But then when I looked at the lizards eyes, it seems to be pleading me to do something.

'Please... Run...' it said.

When I didn't move, it lifted its arm and slam it near me.

'I don't want to hurt you...' it says, with pleading voice.

But I'm still too astonished to move. But, then, it opened its mouth getting ready to bite. As the lizard starts to move towards me, a flash of purple glow dashes toward me, carrying me away from the creature. When I came back to my senses, the guy then placed me behind the others who created a barricade.

"Why didn't you get away from it?" Crayton asked.

"I... I..." I couldn't think of what to say, "I'm sorry..."

The lizard let out a screech, again. Like a predator who found its prey but was stolen from it.

Crayton stood up, "You stay here, and please be more alert." He sprints toward the others. Helping them out.

The silver-haired girl came to me, leaning.

'Are you okay?' Another voice made its way through my thoughts. I glanced at the girl, not replying.

'Its okay. I'm telepathic.' The voice said again, but I didn't reply.

'Name's Azriel, you can call me Az.' She said with a smile.

'I.. I'm Alison.' I replied.

She flashed a smile, trying to calm me down. 'Don't worry, I don't bite.'

I let out a chuck.

'Were you hurt?'

'No, I'm fine.' Even though I still feel the sting of the pain the lizard felt.

She let out a sigh, stood up, and lent out her hand to help me up. I took the offer and stood, but the moment I stood, my legs started shaking, my breathing was unstable. I didn't realize how horrified I am till then. Before I almost fell, Azriel caught me and helped me.

'You sure you're okay?' She asked, again.

'Sorry...' was all I could say.

I could feel her powers flowing inside me, uncontrollably. I felt myself unable to control my powers, making me want to get away from her.

I snatched my arm and pushed myself back, breathing heavily. My vision's blurring, but I try to control myself with breathing exercises. But it wasn't working. My mark glowed from pink to white. I've absorbed too much to calm myself.

The white glowed too bright, meaning it was starting to overload. I felt too much power flowing inside me and I needed to let it out. I glance towards the others.

Felicity was under the lizard, punching it backwards. Purple guy was behind it keeping it occupied. Artemis, together with Crayton were lifting the lizard upwards.

They're all busy. And I'm panicking. The power flowing inside me is too strong to be held in.

'Alison?' Azriel looked worried, 'Alison..? You okay? You seem pale.'

I didn't reply. I'm too busy keeping myself calm, which by the way was really difficult.

I face the lizard, using my newly absorbed powers, lifting it. Everyone halted, and glanced at me. But I was too self-absorbed to think about it.

As I levitated the lizard, It let out a loud cry, as if it were scared of flying. I felt the lizard was heavy, but I didn't care. I spin it around and threw it to the wall. Lifting it again and crashing it to the ground hard. It let out a groan. I pulled out several walls, crafting it into different kinds of swords, knives and a lot more different pointy objects. Pointing it to the lizard, getting ready to strike when something - no, someone - tugging me into a hug, making me crash to the wall.

All the objects that were levitating dropped one after the other. When I came back to my senses, I saw what I've done. The walls near the creature, doesn't have any walls anymore and the steel holding walls were either bent, sliced, or crushed. The creature isn't moving anymore, but it was breathing.

When I calmed down and drained all the energy, I felt myself exhausted. And my body was feeling heavy and starting to drop.

The creature then stood up, but it started to walk away. Leaving us.

"Shhhh...." A calming voice whispers in my ear. "Its okay, calm down... Relax... Everything's alright..."

And with that, my vision starts to drift away.
