Dennis quickly rises from the sofa.

Amanda notices her fiance's rejection and stands up, speaking angrily.

"What’s going on, Dennis? Don’t you want my affection? Why are you disregarding me?"

Amanda starts to cry. Dennis looks at her with remorse.

"I’m sorry, my angel. I’ve been stressed lately... I’ve been working a lot..."

He hugs her, allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder.

Amanda quickly stops crying and smiles triumphantly without Dennis noticing.

"Let’s do this. Go home and tonight we’ll go out for dinner at a restaurant of your choice..."

"Don’t worry so much about work, Amanda says, pretending to care. What Dennis didn’t know was that his fiancee was with him only for his money and his influence... Thanks to the CEO, her modeling career had skyrocketed. Amanda had no feelings of love for her fiance; what she loved was the luxury, comfort, and everything money could provide."

"Alright, my beautiful. I’ll try not to work so hard..."

"Leave some tasks for your secretary to handle. She thinks she’s fooling me... But she was all excited when Arthur held her hand. That little woman, darling, is worth nothing... Amanda had noticed Dennis's concern for Mel... and she wanted to poison Dennis against Mel by speaking ill of his secretary.

He quickly looks for Mel outside the office but can’t find her.

"Where is she? No... No... she can’t have gone out with Arthur..."

He storms back into the office, slamming the door hard.

Dennis calls Mel, and her phone rings inside the office, specifically in the bathroom.

Dennis enters the bathroom and realizes that she had forgotten her phone and the clothes she had worn.

He picks up the slightly damp piece of clothing and holds it in his hand, starting to smell it, taking in her fragrance.

He closes his eyes, imagining embracing the body of his esteemed secretary.

But he quickly remembers Amanda’s words and throws Mel’s clothes to the ground.

"This woman is driving me crazy... I need to get her out of my head..."

He takes her phone and exits the bathroom.

"Where is she? She even forgot her phone... I don’t want to imagine if she’s with Arthur at his apartment..."

Dennis paces around the office anxiously, thinking that Mel was currently with Arthur... Truly, Amanda’s words had done significant damage to Dennis.

He knocks some things off his desk onto the floor. Dennis had no doubt... Mel was with Arthur.

He remembers to call Arthur. He quickly dials his friend’s number.

Arthur’s phone rings without anyone answering.

Driven by the jealousy that consumed him, Dennis throws his phone against the wall, shattering it on the floor.

"If she’s really with him, I never want to see her face again..."

Dennis leaves the office and heads to the underground parking lot.

Approaching the security guard, he asks directly.

"" Tadeu, did my secretary leave in my friend Arthur's car?

"" Yes, Mr. Connor. I didn’t know that Mr. Arthur was dating your secretary.

The guard's response darkens Dennis’s expression further.

"" And why do you think they’re dating? Did you see them kiss?

Dennis doesn’t care what his employee might think about all the questions.

"" Not kissing, Mr. Connor. Mr. Arthur was very attentive to her. It seemed like the girl was unwell.

"" Thank you, Tadeu. Please don’t mention my questions to anyone.

Dennis returns to the office.

"" I’ll wait for her.

He asks the head of the cleaning department to send the cleaner to tidy up his office.

The woman arrives quickly, surveying the messy CEO’s office.

"" Clean everything. You don’t need to clean the bathroom."Better said, I don’t want you to go into the bathroom. And about this mess here, don’t even think about mentioning it to anyone."

Dennis watches the woman with a frightening look.

He leaves the office.

"" What the hell. Where is that woman?

He sits at Mel's desk and waits for her.

More than an hour has passed. He has already returned to his office. Dennis tries to work on the computer, but he struggles to perform even the simplest tasks.

Suddenly, he hears Arthur’s laughter.

"" She’s here.

He quickly rises from the chair and opens the door.

"" I'm on my way. Arthur kisses her hand.

Dennis watches them with a grim expression.

Arthur exits, oblivious to Dennis watching them.

Mel sits at the desk.

"" Looks like the outing was really nice. Dennis leans against the desk and notices her wet hair.

This further unsettles him.

"" Come to my office immediately.

He steps out, with Mel following closely behind.

Dennis locks the door once she enters.
