chapter : 11. fever?

Jungkook is in the kitchen making breakfast for jimin and himself. Since that night jungkook is keeping his distance from jimin. He doesn't want to fall for older more than he already has...

But, fate had something else written.

He placed food on the table and waiting for jimin to come down.

He waited for another ten minutes still there was no movement in the house. He furrows his eyebrows and made his way towards jimin's room. Did he stand in front of it not knowing whether to knock on it or call his name?

Jungkook takes a deep breath and calls "jimin... " Which came more like a whisper. He clears his throat and calls again... This time a bit louder and jimin didn't open his door nor asked younger to enter.

But, jungkook being a curious person, twists the knob and shocked to know. It's open. He peeks inside and darkness said hi... to him...

He walks inside and saw the bed in the centre yet at the end of the room. He saw a bump. He knew it's jimin. He walks towards the curtains and holds the edges slowly. He was waiting... He was waiting for jimin to yell at him. But, nothing came...

He pulls the curtain aside making its way towards the dead end. It finally allowed sunlight to pass through. Jungkook moved to the side and looks at the room. Although he is staying here for a long time. He didn't get a chance to see his idol's room.

Three sides of the wall were painted with navy blue, on the fourth side, it's aqua having king-sized bed placed before it. It had white cover with velvety soft duvet. Straight in front was plasma TV struck to a wall.

Jungkook walks towards jimin. He was hesitating to approach the sleeping figure. But, the elder is probably getting late for his work. He forwards his hand but, quickly retreats back. He takes a deep breath and forwards his hand slowly touching the duvet to uncover older.

But, he freezes and calls...

"Ji-jimin... Jiminshi... " But, there was no response but strong breathing can be heard. Jungkook frowns and slowly takes the duvet off jimin.

Jimin was sweating, taking deep breaths and his eyes were still closed.

Jungkook switched to panic mode...

He doesn't know what to do now!

He calls his only saviour.

Jungkook:

Jin. Hy-hyung?

Jungkook was still in panic...

Jin:

What happened? Are you okay?

Jungkook:

Ji-jimin... He is sweating... And breathing heavily.

Jin:

Okay... Calm down!

Jungkook takes a deep breath and waits for Jin to continue

Jin:

Can you touch his forehead?

Jungkook moves his hand and rests it on jimin's forehead.

Jungkook:

Hyung! It's burning!

Jungkook pulls his hand back.

Jin:

Don't you think he might be having a fever?

Jungkook looks at jimin.

Jungkook:

Yes, I guess?

Jin:

Idiot! Go and take care of him... By that time I'll get a doctor.

Jin hangs the call

Jungkook looks at jimin and walks towards the bathroom. He got a soft cloth with bearable cold water. He walks back to jimin. He places the fabric on jimin's forehead. He continues to do it. Until he heard the bell ring.

He stood up and opens the door.

He saw jin and Namjoon standing together. There was a man probably on his 30s wearing black attire.

Jin hugs jungkook and Namjoon guided doctor to jimin's room. Jungkook was worried very much. It can be seen on his face. Jungkook from childhood had been an open book. People can understand what he is feeling just by looking at his face.

"Everything will be fine~ it's just a fever and nothing more... " Jin said trying to cheer younger.

Jungkook just nods his head as they wait for a doctor.

After some time, the doctor comes out with Namjoon and stood in front of younger omega.

"So, you must be his mate... " Doctor starts and looks at Namjoon then at jungkook.

"He is having a fever and for his quick recovery, you should or must stay by his side.

-Since it's wintertime and he is staying in his human form longer than he should. So, his body is weaker to heal on his own even though he is pure-blooded!

-he has changed to his wolf form and now, he is better. But, I would still prefer if he takes rest.

-yeah! His wolf is craving for your presence! " Doctor said and walked away from them making his way towards the door. Namjoon followed him as he thanked him for coming with an urgent notice.

Jin looks at jungkook, who is staring towards jimin's room. Jin understood that no matter what jimin does to him, how he treats him... Jungkook loves him from the bottom of his heart.

"Kookie! You go and take care of him... As the doctor said he needs you... I'll make something for you and him till he wakes up. " Jin said and gestures jungkook to follow his heart. Jungkook compiles.

"Hopefully, he will be able to break the barrier jimin has put around him and pull him out of it. " Namjoon said out of nowhere near jin's ear making jin's heart to skip a beat.

"Hey, don't scare me like that! Now, come with me we have to help jungkook. But, I have a question? " Jin said and Namjoon nods his head.

"Well, as you heard from doc he was able to heal by himself. since he found his mate... You could say his wolf is trying to take control over him. " Jin gave him a confused look.

"In easy words. Jimin's wolf wants its mate and jimin is not allowing it to happen. So, it's jimin's wolf after all. It's as stubborn as jimin. Hopefully, it can pass through his thick brain that jungkook is his only medicine. " This time Jin understood and nods his head although he still has questions in his mind.

"Baby! Let jungkook take care of him. Why don't you take care of me." Namjoon said as he kissed jin's lips and jin pulls back.

"We have to take care of the patient. " Jin said peeking Namjoon's pouty lips.
