chapter : 10. luna?

--after the dinner--

Jimin went out to see off rose to her black car, where her driver is waiting with hands on the steering wheel. He saw rose coming out, quickly mutes music, which he was listening to pass the time. He opens the door waiting for her to reach.

" Jimin! " Rose calls and jimin hums as he was walking next to her. Well, how does a couple walk with each other? Hands interlocked or boyfriend's hand on her waist while being possessive. But, nothing as such is happening here. There is a 53cm distance between them. Probably, too shy to hold hands.

"I was thinking... " Jimin looks at her and blinks his eyes to continue.

"Does that boy... Ju-jungkook... he is in love with you. " Rose said sighing.

Jimin was taken aback. He didn't expect rose to see or notice something like that so easily and on the very first day, they met. But, is jungkook really in love with him?

Jungkook pov:

I still have to clean all this. The living room is such a mess. I prefer having things rather clean even if I have to wake at early morning at 4 and do it. I started to put all the cushion back to the sofa and close all the magazine and keeping at the right corner of the table.

Suddenly...

*ring ring*

I look up from the magazines and turn towards the noise.

"It's... Jimin-shi's phone... Right? "

I was confused and it stopped ringing. I sighed and again it rang.

"Where is jimin-shi? " I look at the door, but there's no sign of him. It rings again.

"It must be an important call. " I got up and made my way towards the main door.

Jimin's back was facing the door and rose was in front of him. He cups her face tilting his face...

"Ji-" I stood there frozen my blood stopped flowing through my veins. It turned cold. I gulp and moved back inside as I felt something warm on my cheeks.

Again I felt the same. I faced ceiling breathing hard and There was a sudden electric wave went through my body it made me glow in shades of violet and blue. I shuddered and fall on the floor. Soon, the lights disappeared in thin air. I was catching my breath and panting hard. I gulp my saliva and forcefully pushed myself off the floor. I look at my hands as they started to glow.

--flashback--

(During night time)

Jungkook was hugging his side pillow and snuggle his face to it.

"Jungkook~" A voice called him.

But, he didn't budge. The voice called him again.

"Jungkook~" He frowns and kicks his blanket in anger as someone is invading his mind.

"Jungkook! Get up, I need to talk to you. "

"Tsk! " Jungkook is getting annoyed.

"Hey, get up will yaa! " Jungkook growls and sat straight and rubbing his eyes. He flickers his eyes and there was someone glowing as the afternoon sun.

"Hey! dim the lights can't you see, just now I opened my eyes. I can't look at you. " Jungkook said shielding his eyes from the light.

"Oh! Sorry" She dims her glow around her and there she stood with a slight smile.

Jungkook looks at her with awe. She had worn pure white gown and she had blonde hair with Violet eyes.

"What made you disturb my sleep? " Jungkook asked with a raised eyebrow.

"First and foremost give me the respect I'm Luna. " As soon as those words left her lips jungkook stood up on the bed and bowed to her. God, the way she was glowing is itself more than enough to make even a small child understand, that she is different from a normal being.

"Don't have to be formal to your own mom! Son! " She said and hugged him tightly and jungkook was shocked. She looks at jungkook's shocked expression and smiles as she ruffled his hair making jungkook to pout.

"Why are you here? " Jungkook asked as Luna was playing with his hair and jungkook's head on her lap.

"It's about your mate... " She said and jungkook sat up straight. She looks down and takes a deep breath as she continues.

"Jungkook! I know he has said those harsh words, which any omega couldn't even imagine.. *looks at jungkook* and I also know that how you always look for the best for him. Whenever you see his smile you smile immediately and this made me think of putting you both together. I thought you and he will be really happy. *she sighs* but, looks like I made my worst decision. "

"Jungkook, you might have felt earlier right! " Jungkook gave a confused look.

"The violet colour and your energy draining out of you. " She said and just then jungkook remembered that he did feel it but, didn't know what it is? Maybe Luna understood jungkook's confusion and conflict within him.

"Well, since your mate rejected you. You will disappear... Jungkook! " Luna said with sadness dripping in her voice. Who wants to lose her child and in such a way. Jungkook had this shocked expression and he looks down.

"I knew it. I knew... Something bad will happen to me. Well, I'm not good enough for him Luna. Why did you match us? " Jungkook asked with tears welled up in his eyes. At least if it was someone common, maybe he would have accepted jungkook.

"No, only you can and you're the only match for him. Jungkook! " Jungkook shakes his head not agreeing with Luna.

"Jungkook... That's the reason I have come here to warn you and ask you to make a decision. " Luna said and jungkook looks at her with tears in his eyes as he sniffs.

"You can also reject him and I'll match you with someone else, who would be the one as you expect him to be like. *smiles* trust me. " She said and cups jungkook's face and wipes his new tears.

Jungkook looks down in deep thoughts and finally looks at her.

"I accept my fate, Luna! " Jungkook said and Luna was shocked. She thought jungkook will agree with her and seek for happiness. But, this is not the expected output.

"Are you sure? " Luna said having a sad smile trying to hold her own tears. Jungkook nods his head and with that, she kissed his crown and disappeared leaving sparkling stars and dust behind.

That night jungkook couldn't sleep and tears always making their way towards his side temple.

"I don't have much time now! " Having a bitter smile.

"Well, after I disappear, will he remember me at least. His low life omega. " I chuckle at my own thought.

"I don't think so~ he will be happy to see me disappear from this world and from his life as if I didn't even exist. "

The phone rings again. He looks at it.

(On the other side)
