My name is Valkyrie. I'm from a small english town. Since I was a child, I've never been wealthy. I was raised poor and now, I couldn't even complete my studies. In my family, I have 5 small siblings, my sick mother. To get money for my mother's treatment, I wanted a job that would at least pay me handsomely.

I saw this huge mansion as I was walking down the town, I asked the gardener about it and if they're willing to hire a person. He said "Young lady, you don't wanna work here.". I looked at him in confusion as his eyes roamed over me from head to toe. He left without saying anything.

Later, in a few days, I got a letter with the address from the same place, the grand mansion.

I opened and read it.

"Oh my god! They hired me!"

I don't know how and why..I wondered, but it got blinded by the happiness before I could think any deeper.

I wondered what kind of person the master was.

In a blink of an eye, It was already a week here.

I noticed certain things, The other maids wouldn't mostly be silent, I heard one of them talking "𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐟-" before she could complete, the head lady scolded them and shooed them away.

I had never seen the master in the mansion, some said that he rarely comes home. Some said that he comes back every midnight.

It was 2 am, I was sleeping in my assigned room of the small building behind the mansion where all the maids slept.

Suddenly, I was awakened by the sudden commotion. I got out of my room and saw the head lady walking down the place and I followed her. Wrong choice, little did I know, it would change my whole life.

I saw her walking into the mansion as suddenly 1 black car stopped in front of the mansion, The gates opened, and the car was parked inside. I was hiding behind a pillar. The head maid rushed near the car, bowing her head. A man in black suit came out of the car. He was tall, almost 6'5. I couldn't see his face because of the darkness of the dawn but I knew for sure he was the feared master everyone talked about.

Suddenly, his grey, predator eyes moved towards me as I peeked, I immediately hid again, behind the pillar. I knew he saw me..I immediately rushed out of there.

In the morning.

𝐇𝐮𝐡? 𝐌-𝐦𝐞? I said, as the head maid said that the master is calling for me, I had never seen him 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲. I dusted my maid dress and gulped.

"𝐎-𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲.." I walked alone to the 3rd floor, where only certain maids and workers were allowed.

I found myself standing in front of 2 giant luxurious doors.

While knocking, I said "𝐈-𝐈𝐦..𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫."

"𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧" A heavy, dark voice came from outside, sending shivers up my spine.

With all my strength, I opened the one door and stepped in. A strong smell of cigar and alcohol rushed up to my nose. I found myself facing the back of the tall figure.

"𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫..?"

No response. I looked around the old-fashioned but luxurious office with a desk in front where he stood, his back facing me. I noticed a big showcase with different types of alcohol, wine and brandy bottes inside. The desk had an unfinished bottle of brandy with a short brandy glass on it.

"𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭."

"𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭.. 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫?"

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞?"

"...𝐌-𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫"

"𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲."

He suddenly turned around, facing me..i had to admit it..he was effortlessly handsome. I tensed up. His predator eyes, His thin lips, his muscular lean body, His pale skin.. Would make any girl fall for him.

He was wearing a black pants and a white shirt..the buttons were undone till his chest, his muscular chest was visible. His shoes were shiny black. His body was radiating luxury.

He started to walk up to me as his gaze never left mine. He stood up in front of me, I could smell his cologne, the luxurious smell.

I tensed up, my heart beating hard. I couldn't maintain eye contact with his eyes..his handsomely sculpted face.

Suddenly he lifted-
