chapter 11

Crystal's eyes widened; she was moving.

It was not a car that was shattered by the explosion, nor a rescue room full of hospital smells, but a bedroom with a soft, big bed.

What was she doing here? She checked herself. She slapped herself and felt pain.

Is she... reborn like in novels?

But where is this?

There were no lights on in the room, and the faint moonlight filtered in through the window. It was as if it was time for ballroom dancing. The sound of jazz music was lazy and ambiguous.

"Well..."

A confused moan caught her attention. Crystal looked back and saw a man. His whole body was filled with obedience and vulnerability.

It was... Brandon.

Crystal's hands trembled.

She was truly reborn and returned to the night she met Brandon.

Brandon, who was confused, grabbed her hand. "Crystal?" Crystal stiffened when she heard the same domineering tone. Do you want to start all over again? Do you want the previous tragedy to happen again?

"No, she doesn’t want it," Crystal categorically refused in her heart. Yes, it’s her wishful thinking. She and Brandon are not a good match to begin with. Brandon deserves better; he deserves more. She deserves true love. Her person, someone who loves her wholeheartedly.

Thinking of this, Crystal broke free from Brandon's hands and got out of bed.

This action can be regarded as merciless. Even though she was passively in a state of infatuation, Brandon still had great strength. He grabbed Crystal's clothes and refused to let go, struggling to say a complete sentence, "Where are you going? Crystal...don't leave..."

Brandon grabbed her by the skirt of her clothes and refused to let go. He was wondering, feeling at a loss. Why did she just now leave? Could it be that he...did something wrong? He didn't touch her at all...just slept side by side.

Brandon suddenly felt aggrieved, as if his whole body had experienced a disaster. He shook his head and felt that his consciousness was suddenly a little blurry.

The next second, his whole body was hit.

Brandon wanted love and her heart, okay, then give it to him, give it to him completely. But what about her? She also has a heart, and it hurts when she is hurt, and she also feels sad and lost. A burst of uncontrollable evil thoughts surged out.

She wanted Brandon to suffer like her.

Brandon didn't know why the person in front of him changed her gentle attitude. He only knew that his head was getting more and more painful and his mind was getting less and less clear. He inexplicably wanted to cater to her, but he didn't know why he wanted to cater to her... he seemed... to have missed a lot of things...

He raised his body with great effort and kissed Crystal's neck. The faint scent of laurel filled Crystal's nasal cavity. They were beating and rejoicing, and the kiss started from the neck. Suddenly, it moved to Crystal's lips, and then her tongue. They were struggling with each other, dripping with ambiguity. Brandon felt as if he was about to be turned on, but it was obvious...

Let him gather some courage, but the next second, Crystal suddenly pushed him away.

Brandon opened his eyes in disbelief.

The neatly dressed girl took a few steps back, with a sarcastic smile on her face. She couldn't do this, and she didn't want to. By doing this, she didn't want to lose her life because of her anger, and she didn't expect these people to repent...

It wasn't worth it.

As she struggled, a water glass was pushed to the ground.

Outside the room, Harry stood there, dozing off. Olivia was playing with her phone boredly, but after hearing the strange movement in the room, the two of them immediately became alert.

Olivia immediately knocked on the door, "Mr. Spencer, what happened? Do you need me to come in?"

The hotel is owned by the Ford family. Crystal is familiar with every guest room here. She clearly knows where the secret door of the guest room is, but she knows how quick Olivia's reactions are, and she also knows how many of Brandon's spies are nearby.

More importantly, she knows she doesn't want to leave here in a panic, just like running away.

Olivia, who didn't hear any response, knocked on the door a few times before it was opened.

Ms. Ford was well-dressed, and her expression was clear.

Olivia looked at Crystal suspiciously, "What's going on?"

"Mr. Spencer is drunk. As the person in charge of the hotel, I will help him," Crystal said.

She pointed to the sobering soup at the tea break, and Olivia sneered, "Ms. Ford invited Mr. Spencer to have a drink with her an hour ago. Everyone has seen this. How did it become that Mr. Spencer was drunk?"

Lying on the bed, he slowly opened his eyes, and Olivia gave up questioning Crystal. She half-crouched next to Brandon and asked softly,

"Mr. Spencer, have you met this person before...?"

Brandon's mind was so confused that he couldn't remember at all.

He looked up in confusion. It was indeed the first time that he and this girl had met today. This person confessed to her under the influence of wine. He had first arrived in City A and was very interested in the secrets of the wealthy families there. He wanted to use Ms. Ford as a breakthrough, so he agreed to her request and accompanied her.

Later, they couldn't help but kiss each other.

As for whether he knew Crystal before.

It should be...

Someone answered the question first, "I don't know him."

Brandon was stunned by Crystal's affirmative tone and showed a puzzled expression in disbelief.
