Chapter 8 [A Chat With Her Family Members]

After eating snacks with Jennifer I decided to talk with Auntie, Jennifer's mom, I looked around the house to look for her, but she wasn't there, I was going to check the balcony because she might be there, but then she come up behind me and scared me, "Boo! Did I scare you?" Auntie said, well I did jump... We then sat and talked, she was mostly talking about Jennifer and the way she acts, but it was the opposite from what I saw and experienced with her, Auntie described her as mean, rude, cold, scary, and irresponsible, well she was a little cold and mean the first time I met her, but you just have to make her trust you then she will be comfortable with you, we were just talking blah blah blah, but then the question Auntie asked made me quite nervous... "So, How did you meet my daughter?" Why or how did it make me feel nervous? It's the way she stared at me, she went dead serious like she didn't want me here, I felt so nervous that my hand shivered, "W-Well, I just met her in class, she looked pretty lonely, so I decided to become friends with her." I said, I did stutter, but I could answer. Gladly auntie just giggled at my answer, phew! I thought she'd be really serious! Made me shiver! "In class? Well! I'm glad you became friends with my daughter! She really has no one to talk to! She is really introverted! You did get her out of her shell! She would stay in her room 24/7!" Auntie said, I really did make her happy... I've never seen someone so happy because of me. Minutes later me and Auntie had to stop the conversation because she had somewhere to go, I just sat there at the balcony breathing the fresh air while thinking of Jennifer, wonder where she could... As I turned my head I jumped again because of Jennifer's brother, Ike, "Hey~ I waited so long just to talk to you! Mom really is very talkative! So!! What are you doing here alone? Thinking of your future girlfriend which is Jennifer?~" I really hate the way Ike said that, he said it in such a cocky tone, made me go crazy! "I see your ears going red! Hehe! That's enough teasing, you might have mistaken for flirting... Ew, anyway! If you want to know where Jennifer is she is with mom going somewhere which I don't know" Ike said, well thanks for the random information that doesn't tell anything except Jennifer with her mom. I didn't want to say anything to him because he might probably snitch on Jennifer if I tell him about my feelings for her, but he already ships me and Jennifer so what's the problem! "How did you know I had a crush on Jennifer?" I asked, "Well! From the way Jennifer acted when I talked to you earlier she was quite protective, and when Jennifer is protective it means she has a bit of feelings for you, but when she starts to cuddle and asks for hugs well that means she is deeply in love with you!" Well Ike is actually pretty useful, he does really know a lot about Jennifer... "Well! I've to go! I promise Xavier that I would play games with him! See you later!" Ike then left the balcony, I should probably ask him more about Jennifer later... Well! More alone time for me! I hope not another of Jennifer's siblings scare me again......  I then just stared at the wonderful scenery from the balcony, Oh to be so rich, I wonder when Jennifer is coming back, I feel so lonely, I don't wanna talk to anyone besides Jennifer and Auntie, I then went inside because the heat was starting to hurt me, I went to the living to probably take a nap or rest, I expected a peaceful, luxurious, and quiet living room! But in reality... it is a luxurious living room but all of Jennifer's siblings are there, Jennifer's brothers were playing games on their phones and also on their Smart TV, 3 of Jennifer's brothers were not playing games, but just talking like normal kids, but they would make weird noises and would keep swearing, they would even moan out of nowhere and start laughing, while for Jennifer's sisters... they were more mature, they just sat on the sofa and talked like real women, as I stepped in the living room it all went silent, and they all looked at me which made me feel a bit awkward... But all of a sudden they were all happy that I was here. "Wow! Look! It's Jennifer's girlfriend!" "Oh my gosh! I'm so happy to meet you!" "Jennifer has a girlfriend?!" They all mistaken me as Jennifer's girlfriend, "I'm not Jennifer's girlfriend! I'm just her best friend!"...

Just a best friend?
