Chapter 2 [I Didn't Tell Her We're On A Date!]

...Yesterday, Jennifer and I ate at a café near the university, she thanked me for buying her dinner and accompanying her, she is quiet and not much of a talker, but I found it cute, a new day started, and I was walking to the university, I greeted some of my seniors on the way too, as I was walking pass the café I saw Jennifer eating a piece of carrot cake and sipping on some tea, so I came in the café and sat down with her "Hey! Good morning! Want to walk to the university together?" I asked her, and Jennifer slowly looked up at me and nodded I'm glad she is a bit nicer today unlike yesterday she kept insulting me, but I didn't mind! After she was done taking her breakfast I held her hand and guided her out of the café. We were just walking to the university while I carried the conversation, she only replied with short words, or spoke quietly which made me wonder if she has insecurities with people, or she just doesn't like talking. I asked her what her dislikes were and what her hobbies are, her fashion style, where she's from, when her birthday was, how old she is, how tall she is and some of those basic questions. When we reached the university's gate I accidentally bumped into someone "Hey! Watch it!" I yelled and when I looked up to see who it was, it was just an ugly senior which girls love, he gave me and Jennifer the nasty look which made me feel uncomfortable, I looked at Jennifer, and she glared at him back, but the senior was staring at me... "What the hell are you doing with that brat?" He said while pointing at Jennifer, I felt so offended when that damn senior called Jennifer a brat, I felt furious that I had the urge to throw this man to hell, as I was about to throw hands Jennifer spoke something which shocked me. "What do you want, brother? Leave me alone, go and show your true self to your boyfriend, all cuddly and sweet." Jennifer pulled me away, and she dragged me away from him, Brother? That was her brother? That's why they looked alike, but what confused me was what Jennifer said... Boyfriend? Cuddly and sweet? Did Jennifer just expose her own brother to a total stranger? Well I didn't care much anyway. My heart skipped a beat when she held my hand and dragged me away like I was getting hit on. I really want to confess to her that I liked her, but it was a bit too early, I just met her yesterday, it would be really awkward if I just confessed right away! We were on our way to class, we didn't speak or say something which made it awkward, I didn't want to ask her about her brother or compare the way she talked to her brother and the way she talked towards me. For the whole day we were by each other's side, where she was I was there too, she didn't look annoyed like yesterday, she looked more comfortable and relaxed. After lunch, I decided to skip class with Jennifer, but she didn't want to, she kept bragging about getting in trouble or getting caught, but when I told her that I had a surprise for her, she totally forgot about the "getting caught" and "getting scolded" stuff so she said yes about skipping class, I took her hand,, and we successfully escaped class and passed by the lazy gatekeeper, we went to the mall to buy clothes and some makeup, and we also ate at the buffet near my apartment that just opened, we were just eating and kept arguing who will pay for the bill, but Furthermore, I ended up paying the bill which made Jennifer a bit mad, but I just giggled at how cute she looked being angry, so we decided to go somewhere else. She stopped walking being left behind, "Is there something wrong?" I asked, and just gave me a really embarrassing look, "Furthermore, Is this like a date or something?" she asked me. Oops! I got caught sneaking a little date! I just gave her a smirk and a mischievous giggle that I just had to admit that I purposely planned this date during class....
