Castle's Betrayal: Benjamin's Search

As Benjamin entered Lizzie's room for his usual visit, he sensed that something was off. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't quite put his finger on what was causing his unease. His instincts were telling him that trouble was brewing, and his heart began to race with panic when he realized that Lizzie was nowhere to be found. Benjamin had always been a devoted friend to Lizzie, and the thought of her being in danger sent chills down his spine.

Just as he was about to give up hope, he noticed a crumpled piece of paper on the floor that caught his attention. As he picked it up, his hands trembled with fear and anticipation. It was a message from Lizzie, and it revealed the grave danger she was in. Benjamin's heart raced with a mix of fear and determination. He knew he had to act fast to save his friend.

As he rushed out of the hospital, he was met with a scene of utter devastation. The once beautiful kingdom was now a wasteland of rubble and ashes, with signs of chaos and destruction everywhere he turned. People were running in all directions, screaming and crying in terror. But through it all, Benjamin pushed forward, his eyes fixed on his goal. Just then, a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts, causing him to pause and listen closely.

It was Maisy, a dear friend of his. He turned around to face her, and she could sense the frustration and worry etched on his face. "No, I'm not okay. Why would you think that?" he retorted with a trembling voice. "I am sorry I didn't think," Maisy said, regret laced in her voice. "No, it's not your fault Maisy," he replied, his voice softening a little, as he tried to push aside his fears and focus on the task at hand. "Maybe it's not, but I want to help as much as I can," Maisy said in a sweet voice, trying to comfort her friend.

"I left her alone, and now..." Before he could finish, tears streamed down his face, and his body shook with sobs. "Please don't cry, it hurts me to see you cry like that. You're my friend, Benjamin," Maisy said, trying to blur him up. As Benjamin wiped his tears away, he noticed a flyer that caught his attention.

"Huh, a flyer," Maisy replied, looking confused. "It states for you to come to the castle," Benjamin said, pointing at the flyer. "Why would they need me? This smells fishy," Maisy said, trying to make sense of it all. "It sure does, Maisy," Benjamin replied, and they both looked at each other with uncertainty. "Alright, see you later then," Maisy said as she was about to leave. "Wait don't go I go with you," Benjamin yelled at Maisy. "Why do you want to go with me?" Maisy asked, confused. "I want to protect you," Benjamin replied with a smile. "Ah, thank you, Benjamin," Maisy said. With that, they went to the castle and arrived, looking around in shock.

"What happened here, Benjamin?" Maisy asked, her voice filled with disbelief. "Well, that's going to be a long story. We better get to Emma," Benjamin replied. "Sure." "Maisy, there you are," Emma said, her eyes lighting up with joy. "What do you want from me?" Maisy said, annoyed. "Maisy, I..." "Leave it. I am not helping. Come, Benjamin." "Benjamin!" she yelled again, her voice filled with worry as she saw him collapse helplessly on the ground, tears streaming down her face. She stood frozen in front of Benjamin. Her heart pounded so fiercely that she felt it might burst out of her chest at any moment. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to revive herself, but it was all futile. Emma's screams for help were piercing through her ears, but she was too overwhelmed to do anything. Her face was drenched in tears, and she struggled to control her emotions. With every passing moment, Maisy's anger towards Emma grew stronger, and she began to hold her responsible for Benjamin's condition.

In a fit of rage, Maisy pushed Emma away and stormed out of the room, leaving behind an atmosphere of tension and distress. Emma followed her, pleading with her to listen to her, but Maisy was too agitated to pay attention. "What do you want from me, Emma?" Maisy snapped, her voice laced with annoyance. But before Emma could respond, she collapsed in front of Maisy.

Maisy was taken aback and scared, and she rushed to Emma's aid. She picked her up and carried her to the nearest room, her heart still throbbing with fear. "What happened, Emma?" Maisy asked, but her words got stuck in her throat when she saw Emma's face. Emma was in excruciating pain, and her eyes were brimming with tears. "Are you okay, Maisy?" Emma asked, but Maisy was lost in thought, trying to make sense of what was happening.

"Please, Maisy, just listen to me," Emma begged through her tears. "Okay, go ahead," Maisy said, her voice softening. Emma took a deep breath and began to speak. "It all started when I was a little girl. My mother always told me that I was worthless and that I was never good enough. Nothing I did was ever enough. It went on like that for years until they kicked me out of the house. I walked for miles until I saw the castle."

Maisy listened intently, trying to understand Emma's past. "I understand, but what you did was still wrong," Maisy interrupted, her tone harsh. "Please let me finish," Emma pleaded. "Okay, go on." "As I was in the castle, I saw how everyone loved Lizzie but treated me as if I were some charity case. I hated it. I hated feeling like I was less than everyone else. That's why I did what I did."

Emma continued, "So, what you did was try to make Lizzie's life a living hell. Not a smart move," Maisy said, annoyed. "Well, I-" Emma tried to defend herself, but Maisy cut her off. "Oh, so you see it too." Emma broke down in tears, "Maisy, please stop." "Emma, I-" Maisy tried to say something, but she couldn't find the right words. "You have no idea how it feels to be treated badly or like someone is better." As Maisy tried to respond, Maisy broke down in tears. "Wait, Maisy, I didn't mean it like that." "Emma, don't think I will help you ever again," with that, she left the castle. Emma looked after her, wondering if she had messed up beyond repair. Will Maisy change her decision?
