#2. Chapter 2

*The saintess looked at bishop in utter shock. How can Alastor, out of all people would raid their town and murder all those innocent people's!?*

"What should we do now!!?"

*Saintess said, the fear had her heart in it's clutches. Her heart was racing like crazy. she had never experienced such fear in so many years. Everywhere she looked, witnessed dead bodies of poor town folks.*

(Saintess backs away slowly, away from the window and kneels down under the statue of jesus)

"Oh lord! Have mercy on our now ruined town and it's people! save us from the wrath of the evil and protect us!"

(The nun started to pray aswell, kneeling beside the saintess)

*Suddenly the screams of people stopped. Saintess and nun completed their prayers and rushed towards the window. Alastor and his goons were gone, leaving corpses of women, men and elders but to their surprise, no small child was killed.*

(Saintess rushes out of the church, wearing her white veil to cover her face. She was horrified as she walked towards a small kid, crying near the dead body of a woman, looked like it was his mother)

"Don't cry, my child"

*Saintess tried to comfort him, knowing that it was futile. The kid looked up at her and hugged her. the kid was visibly scared*

(Saintess looked at the nun)

"We have to bring all those kids here, who lost their parents and are all alone. we will aid them no matter what"

(Saintess looked back at the kid, noticing a small cut on his forehead. she smiled gently, using her divine healing to heal the kid's wound)

"Would you like to stay in the church with other children?"

(The kid looked at his mom's corpse before slowly nodding in agreement)

"Don't worry. No one will hurt you, I promise you that, young man"

*Saintess requested the nun to guide the kid to church as she would go and look for other innocent people and kids*

(Walks in the ruined town, noticing many people who managed to survive)

"Thank god that many towns folk survived."

*Saintess soon reached near the end of the town. she was about to turn around and leave when she suddenly heard a very masculine and heavy voice.*

"What was that?"

(Hides behind a tree, peeking a bit)

*Her eyes got wide in fear and shock. She saw a same black Cape, those blood red eyes, luscious long black hair. the features, enough to make a woman faint was sitting under a tree. It was none other than Alastor himself.*

'what is he doing here?'

(Saintess whispered, peeking a bit more)

*Saintess was looking at his all bloodied form in disgust when suddenly a dagger flew across her right cheek, scraping it a bit. she froze on her place, when suddenly the same heavy voice spoke*

"Who dares to spy on me. If you don't want to die, come out now"

*Alastor's voice was cold, empty of any sympathy or empathy. he was glaring right at the tree were saintess was hiding*

(Saintess gulped, deciding to run)

"If you run, I'll catch you and rip your throat out"

*Saintess froze as she decided to walk out from behind the tree. she steadied her breathing before walking out, in front of alastor*
