Time went by as autumn came to our place. Noticing every leaf turning golden brown some are yellow ‘n oranges, shining like the sun. Also, the sun, shining the biggest and oldest tree that lives near our school.

Enjoying my way as I observed my surroundings while walking to my work, I took pictures, admiring the beautiful view. Standing at the falls leaves, It didn't take long for me to stay. I then make my way as I'm on my way to my work, enjoying the cold air and yet, the shining sun.

The day, it's wonderful. I love how peaceful autumn is. October, I really fell in love with you... Each day has been the same, going out with the breezy cold of air washing my skin, impossible to not feel. Not even noticing, I've been working for 1 week. I remembered that when I received a message last night from my friend, Ai was worryingly waiting for me. and of course, I explained to her what my situation was and why I'm so busy right now. As I enjoyed my mood/life these past few days, I didn't even bother to think about anyone or someone to disturb my me time.

As time went by again, it's almost 2 weeks and our school is almost going to start also. As I finally finished with my work, I bought... Something... Something secretly special. As I was peacefully eating my breakfast, I received another message from my friend. My best friend Ai, spamming me messages as my notifications blew up.

-“Eva, Eva, Va... Please, see my message. Reply please???”

Reading her messages with her begging for my response made me laugh as I found it cute. I then continued to read her messages when something quickly caught my attention.

-“Eva, I have something important for you. I just want to say that if you wanted to have a sleepover for me tonight?... I'm going to give you something you'll love.”

Reading that made me smile from happiness. I replied to her, saying I'll be going at 5 o’clock. Actually, It was an unexpected coincidence because I was actually going for her.

Preparing my stuff, I put on my long white blouse and long blank pants as if I were going somewhere so important. Preparing, I fixed my hair properly and put on some cologne. I then decided to message her that I'm on my way, seeing surprisingly, she replied quickly. I found it silly but got used to it. Furthermore, I was then ready, going to her apartment.

Arriving at her front door, I took a deep breath first before ringing the doorbell. Just for a second, the door opened quickly. I smile at her first. Then, I saw her face, staring at me with a soft smile knowing she misses me.

“Come in..!” She spoke, breaking the silence. She leans to the side of the door, giving me a way to come in.

Nodding, I smile back at her as I come in. She closes the door and I quickly went to her living room, sitting on her couch. She then arrives, sitting near me as she suddenly hugs me. I chuckle softly at her presence, hugging her back with a warm one. After the long hug, I break the hug and lean away, looking at each other’s eyes.

Ai then prefers something for me, putting a glass with colored orange juice at the table that is obviously an orange. She then pushes it in front of me, seems to be waiting for me to drink it.

“Eva, drink this. I prefer this special drink for you. I hope you like it~”

Hearing that from her made me confused. How come a normal orange juice is so special? I then forget about it and nod at her invitation to drink it, grabbing the glass as I took a sip, smiling at her as I quickly put it down on the table.

“So...???” She looks at me, waiting for my response.

“Ah! It's good, yeah-... just... It is just orange juice after all. Hahaha ..” I chuckled nervously as I tried to make a joke out of it.

“Haha, yeah. Oh, yeah! By the way... May I ask you something?”

“Oh?.. Yeah, feel free to ask anything.” grabbing the glass again as I drink everything...

“Hmm, I just want to ask since you.. know. We've been so busy with our lives...?”

“Oh, yeah? About that... I just saved up to buy a special gift.”

“O-oh... Haha, did I just hear it right? Is my bestie now buying a gift for someone?”

Eva: ... Feeling.. dizzy... what's happening to me?

“Hey, hey! Are you.. Alright...? Why are you so red-”

Eva then falls to Ai, catching Eva quickly as she notices she is down.

The juice worked.

Eva’s POV:

Couldn't move, my body is so dizzy, yet, so lazy to move. The sound of the chain... The chains... It is so loud. A chain?!? Why the hell are my hands chained up?!

“Oh, my. You're awake, good. I thought you were dead for a second. Are you okay, darling?”

Eva

Huff... Huff... Trying to get out of the chains. Why is it so tight?!

“Ai?” I spoke her name, “Why are my hands and feet chained? What's the meaning of this...?”

“Oh, my. Sorry about that, darling. I should probably explain it to you.”

“Wait- explain what?! What the fuck do you mean! Why am I here?!? Let me go, let me go!! let me go, please...”

Scoffed, “Begging for your life already? No, no, no. Darling, I won't hurt you, please don't look at me that way.”

“Just fucking explain!” –I shouted.

“So stubborn...” “Uhh, well, I just wanted to say... Who's the special gift for?”

“Spe..cial gift...?”

“Now, don't fucking play dumb with me, Eva. I don't want to be mad at you, okay?”

“I... It's for.. It's actually for y-...”

Ai

Puts a tape on her mouth as she didn't let her finish her words.

Eva

H..mph...!?!

“You know what... I don't want to hear it. I never really wanted this situation to come but, it already did, didn't it?”

Eva’s eyes shaking in fear, tears coming out from her eyes as her anxiety attacks her, nor wanting to believe this is the reality when she's seeing right now is her Friend.

“Why...” Ai spoke once again, leaning closer to Eva as she grabbed her hair, and started caressing it gently with her loving stare in her eyes.

“Why can't it just be.. Me? Out of a billion people, why him? I don't... I don't really like the sound of you telling me you fall in love with someone, No!.. Just me, just me...”
