 The day's burden clung to Edoardo like a veil as he crossed the threshold of his house. His ever-observant mother greeted him at the door  with a soft smile that did little to calm the chaos

inside of him He greeted his mom and went towards his room,, but he stopped in middle and looked at his mom who was looking at him with concern and understanding. He asked in saddened voice,"Mama" he began, the weight of his uncertainty heavy in his voice, "do you truly believe I should marry him? I've never even met an Alpha before, let alone considered such a union."

His mom who was listening to his words replied with a reassuring voice," You will have to marry one day anyway, Edo than why are you getting afraid, whatever you are thinking about that family is not right we have good relationship with them since your great-grandfather time, it's a tradition between our families if there is a dominant omega in either of the families we marry them in each other famIly".

Edoardo brow furrowed he felt a knot in his stomach as he thought about the marriage,his mind racing with doubt and fear,he asked," Why must I be bound by these ancient customs? it feels like I am pawn who is getting traded for the benefit, I don't know what should I feel, I don't even know him nobody knows anything about him, everyone thinks he is some kind of monster and on top of that his mafia family, I am scared".

His mother's eyes softened with understanding as she sought to illuminate the shadows of his doubts," You see my love everything has a reason, our families had long held a relationship with Romano family, And as for Caesar, he is not the monster that rumors would have you believe. In fact, you met him once, many years ago when you were but a child. You know how difficult it is for a dominant omega to find a suitable partner as there are very few Alphas whose pheromones don't affect them in negative way.

Edoardo tried hard to find the glimpse of those memories long buried beneath weight of time. Yet he couldn't get summon of recollection of the Alpha who

His mother continued her words a soothing balm which tried to soothe the jagged edges of his fears," Caesar is honorable man and his family's standing in society is beyond reproach, You may not know, but we have put great efforts that it is not only beneficial but also rooted in genuine compatibility."

Each word of his mother began to chip away at the fortress of doubt that had taken root with in him,

And as she started telling him about Caesar's purported fondness for him, Edoardo started to find new hope amidst this uncertainty.

But Even as his mother's reassurance began to take hold a lingering question remained,"Yet Mama", He began his voice tinged with uncertainty, " What will happen to my desires? What if I want to carve a different path ?".

His mother smiled warmly her gaze unwavering as she spoke of the delicate thread between tradition and personal agency," My Edo our traditions do guide us, but they do not define us, you have the power to shape your destiny and who says that your union with Caesar can not be a stepping stone towards that journey ".

As he pondered his mother's words, he felt the weight of world shift upon his shoulders. Tradition and uncertainty stood as twin pillars each vying for dominance in his heart. Yet amidst this chaos there flickered a spark of possibilities, a chance to forge his own path.
