" What do you think about him?, I think he is interested in you too".He pointed out to a man who was continuously checking his friend out.

"I am here to chill not to find someone for a one nightstand ".He said in annoyed manner.

"Come on, you should let yourself loose". Antonio smirked.

Getting annoyed by Antonio's persistence, " Do you even know what kind of problem i am in now?".

"Does it matter?. I mean look my friend Edoardo you have to live your life okay, It is going to become meaningless if you go around worrying so much ". He said.

"It seems you have lived enough, you don't even know anything , and you are saying all this nonsense. If something happens even I won't be able to save you ". He replied.

"Oh really!". He said with a mischievous face.

Edoardo was sitting with his best friend Antonio, they were best friends since childhood, Antonio is also an omega but not a dominant one.Edoardo came to his friend's bar to tell him about this news that he is getting married next week which he knew nothing about. It came as a surprise to him as he just heard this news this morning from his parents.

"You know what Antonio, I am getting married next week". Edoardo said while looking at his cocktail.

"Hold on". Antonio got surprised, "What do you mean? Married, who? Why? How did that happen?and when?". He was dumbfounded by Edoardo's words.

"Let me get a breather". He took a deep breath and again asked." What are you saying bro?".

"Our parents decided it when i was born". Edoardo said while looking down at the bar table.

"So who is that man whom you are getting married to". Antonio asked.

"I don't know, I never met him, wedding will be the first time I would lay my eyes on him". He replied with a sigh.

"What are you even saying? You mean you never saw him and don't know anything about him and still you will get married to him, Why ?". He asked as it as it was more surprising to him.

" I don't have a choice to begin with, and his family is rich and all and it was a promise between families".

Cutting him off in between" Come on bro it's not like we are living in 19th century that you are having an arranged marriage, do you really think It's just."

Edoardo looked at him and started thinking as he can't say anything against it, It was his last choice as it was his grandfather who made that promise and it was also his last wish. He sighed deeply.

Antonio looked at Edoardo while he was making drinks, he puts down the glass and asked, "Do you know anything about him? Like his name or anything else".

" Yeah I heard his family name Romano something". He replied thinking deeply about it.

"Wait a minute, WHO". Antonio was so surprised after hearing that name like a current run down his spine." The ROMANO family, you mean to say you are getting married to the sole heir of the mafia family ".

"I think so". He got confused and looked at Antonio and asked,"Is it a bad thing I mean ".

" You don't know he is the most eligible bachelor right now but other than that no one has heard anything about him, no one knows where is he and how he looks, everything about him is closed off". Antonio explained.

"I don't know what to do I will have to get married to him, it's better that way, now I know why my parents always kept me away from every alpha and never let me date, It was for this day. If I knew I would have done everything". He said and tilted his head backwards on the chair.

" You can do it now, everything it's never too late, look that man over there has been checking you out since you came here". Antonio said.

"Whatever I will do now will affect my family ". He said with saddened face. "I don't want them to worry about me, they are already going through a lot ".

"So are you going to live your life on these terms". Antonio asked.

"Maybe ". He replied gulping down his cocktail.

The man who was looking at Edoardo from the beginning came near him and asked him, " Can I buy you a drink".A husky voice came .

Edoardo looked in that direction, he was a tall, tanned muscular man with piercing blue eyes, his presence was demanding attention .

Edoardo hesitated, his mind awash with conflicting emotions. In that moment, he found himself at a crossroads, torn between the expectations of his family and the tantalizing prospect of forging his own path.
