After getting the book to Siya in the library, I showed her some information videos which made it clear to me that I will have to work very hard to teach this girl. I was ready to give my best but I was afraid whether my student was ready to go to this extent or not.

A lot of time had passed in explaining about Alexander and in the process I even missed two of my lectures. When it was time to leave for college, I came to know that Siya was also doing a part time job.

" I am working in Golden Lotus. That's why I can't go home, I have to go to the cafe first and then I will come home from there. I have also talked to him that I can take the leftover food from him at night."

I thought that I would scold her like she always does to us but she said it very easily.

Rajeshwari aunty called Siya to her and gave her orange juice and asked her to take her to Om. Then I came to know that Om had already arrived. Usually we both always come together but today because of Siya we both got apart.

When I reached both of them, Om was looking at him with surprise. Even he would not have believed that Siya worked here. All three of us got busy in our work and the day went on like this.

I saw that Siya works diligently. She talks very politely with the customer. To be honest, this girl is not as bad as I thought. After work was over, we closed the cafe at 11:00 pm. Rajeshwari aunty goes home at 8:00 and Om and I close this cafe.

Today there were three of us. I had told Siya that I will take her home from here, after all we both live in the same house. There were a lot of leftovers today like apple pie and some cookies. Normally we kept it in the freezer but Om allowed Siya to take it.

When we reached home, my mother was standing at the door. She was looking at both of us as if we had run away from home and not returned home. I asked Siya to go to her room because I knew what speech my mother was going to give.

Like every Indian mother, my mother also looks at everyone with suspicion because she likes watching crime reporting too much.  When she comes and even by mistake sees a knife in someone's hand, she already thinks that he has come after murdering someone.

He believes that a boy and a girl should never live together, he falls in love between them and later that love turns into a conspiracy. I have a daily habit of doing all this but I did not want to spoil my impression in front of Siya, so I quietly asked her to go upstairs.

Now I was ready to listen to my mother and she did so.

" Look, a boy and a girl can never be friends.  What if you both fall in love and a third person enters? What if you ever killed me in the name of love? Son, love is the result of sin,,,"
