A Memory of the Past

(EDWIN)

As we reached home safely i again picked up Diana as she was sleeping and carried her to her room and placed her on the bed , as i turned to leave the room . I heard Diana mummer something in her sleep "Ed don't leave me" hearing that I looked at Diana with a shocked look at my face walking back to her bed, i sat beside her as i caressed her face and said her good night leaving the room once again. Walking back to my room i thought of everything that today tears started to escape my eyes as I reached my room closing the door behind me I broke down crying .

RYA WHY DID U LEAVE ME WHY!!

I screamed at the top of my voice , tears continued flowing down my face . I took out a childhood picture of me and Rya when we were at the orphanage , a memory played in front of me .

MEMORY...

As I sat alone on the swing looking at all the kids playing I saw a girl approaching towards me ," Hello!! " she said and continued talking " I am Rya , i saw u sitting here alone so i thought of coming to u. Do u also have no friends like me , I was just transferred from another orphanage . What's your name!!" she asked me with an excited look on her face. "

I said "My name is Edwin and yes i don't have friends here" saying that i again looked down " i will be your friend don't worry." she said as i again looked up at her she looked so different than others her brown eyes were glowing with joy and her black hair was flowing with the wind without thinking much I said yes . She started jumping up and down in excitement and looked at me and raised her pinky finger towards me "Promise me you will always be my friend and never leave me no matter what. " I crossed my pinky to make a promise pact with her promise .

END OF MEMORY....

As this memory started to fade away i came back to my senses , crying as i fell down on my knees "I broke the very first promise we made .. I am so sorry Rya , i am sorry I left you alone yes you told me to leave you but I should have stayed with you and kept my promise."

Again looking at the picture of us I called my sister Maria , as she picked up the phone I heard a voice from the other side of the phone "Eddy are u doing ok, please say something , i know you are devastated but we have to stay strong for Rya she would never like to see you breakdown please talk Eddy!! " as i tried to speak another cry escaped my lips but gathering courage again I said " ho.. ww di.. dd everything happen and wh.. o to..ld you." it felt i wasn't able to speak Marie replied " That's not important how it happened what's more important is I saw Ian and Angelina together moment before the accident together and you what more shocking they were kissing, i have a feeling something is not right and although the police says its suicide but I feel it's planned by someone something just feel right. " as she finished speaking i felt my sadness turned in anger hearing Ian and Angelina name how could they hurt Rya this way how could they do that to her she loved them both too much one was her bestfriend another was her fiance .

"Eddy says something please." without saying anything I cut the call as i threw the phone at the wall screaming again AHHH!!! AHHH!! WHY WHY WHY!! WHY DID U CHOOSE THAT BASTERD WHY RYA WHY!!

I screamed till I started coughing ,as i punched my fist on the floor in frustration tears still flowed from my eyes thinking it's all my fault if i hadn't left Rya with that basterd things would have been different maybe Rya would have been alive and with me. Meanwhile Diana woke up and started walking towards Edwin's room she heard him screaming inside the room as she started getting worried and heard a loud noise of something breaking .

She quickly opened the door and found Edwin on the floor and the big mirror in the room broken in pieces, Ed!! she screamed and ran towards him but she stepped on a piece of glass as winced in pain hearing her voice Edwin looked behind him and saw her To be Continued...
