The Day i lost you , I lost myself

RYA (DIANA SCOTT'S)

As i saw the phone dropped from Edwin's hands i looked at him confused and concerned, i couldn't understand what he heard on the other side of the phone . Edwin dropped down on his knees as tears were streaming down his face as i heard the voice from the other side of the phone saying.

"Eddy , Rya's house was burned and it was claimed by the police she died in  the fire, Hey Eddy are u ok! are you there! Eddy !! " As i heard the line got disconnected from the other side  i heard Edwin scream my name while curling up into a ball on the ground and crying  .

"RYA!!!" seeing Edwin in the state broke my heart into pieces , i thought so wrong about him for that bastard i left Edwin alone when he needed me the most 'how could I ' i was angry at myself thinking about these thoughts but snapping out of it i rushed to Edwin and hugged him tightly closing my eyes thinking ' it's ok don't cry i am here i won't leave you anymore ' as tears fell down from my closed eyes .

Edwin was in a shock state as his phone ranged again as i picked it up i recognised the voice it was Maria Edwin's sister she was the person who called him and told him about my death.

"Hello Eddy are you ok , i am so sorry i gave you the news like this i know you were searching for Diana but what could i have done , these things happen all of a sudden ... Eddy are u there?"

She cried out loud while i composed myself and was about to say it's me Rya your best friend yes we three were a trio since childhood but everything changed after I met Ian and Angelina keeping these thoughts aside i replied " Mar..".

As I said, I remembered only I used to call her 'Mar ' i mentally slapped myself ' how can you be this big fool Ryn' i quickly composed myself and said in a monotonous tone like Diana ."

Maria it's me Diana , Edwin is not emotionally strong to talk to anyone btw what happened " i tried to sound clueless so she wouldn't doubt me.

"Oh!! My God Diana they found you thank God are you ok " , she tried to but happy and cheerful as if she was hiding something from me but what could it be i thought to myself.

"Who is Rya ?and why is Edwin crying i can't seem to understand it ? " I tried to question Mar trying to understand why she was hiding this from Diana and why can't I find the mention of myself in Diana memories as all these questions played in my head Mar replied in a unusually calm voice this is when she tries to lie and say something she doesn't want to " Rya was our distant cousin and she died so Eddy is so disturbed and heart broken , you know they were really close ."

Before i could reply to her Edwin took away his phone from my hands he had a tear stained face and his eye and face were all puffy from crying .

He disconnected the call and said with a serious face " Diana let's go home you must be tired...." without saying anything further to me Edwin told everyone to pack up everything as we will be returning to Scott's mansion as Mr Scott was eagerly waiting for Diana and Edwin.

Time passed as Edwin wiped his tears and started to drive me to the Scott's mansion as i slowly started to fall in a deep slumber in the car when i again heard Beethoven in my head "remember Rya now you are Diana so don't let anyone find the real truth about u even if u want to say to someone you can't"

Beethoven again laughed as it turned into pin drop silence again To be Continued.....
