Chapter 20
\~ALLISON\~
Justin's eyes flicked back to the black bag on the back seat, a gift from Cara.
"She was insistent that I bring this along, just in case you needed a change of clothes," he explained.
I unzipped the bag, finding a variety of outfits inside. "Even after ditching me for some guy, she still manages to show she cares," I joked.
Justin chuckled at my teasing, and as I changed into the new clothes, I could sense his tension easing. I caught him stealing glances in the mirror, trying not to look directly at me.
"No peeking," I playfully scolded him.
He cleared his throat, obviously embarrassed, but I could tell he was trying to respect my privacy. I laughed softly, giving him a reassuring smile.
Fighting to squeeze into the unfamiliar dress, I hoped Cara hadn't gone overboard with her choices.
"Do you need help back there? You know, I can be pretty handy," Justin teased.
I couldn't help but giggle as he momentarily sounded and acted like Ash. "Thanks, Prince Charming, but I've got it covered."
"If you say so, Princess."
Finally arriving at the club, the parking lot was packed. Justin struggled to find a decent spot after circling the venue for what felt like hours. But eventually, we found one.
Stepping out of the car, I checked my reflection in the window of Justin's car. I could feel Justin's eyes on me, and I knew Cara had once again gone overboard with my appearance.
The braless black shimmer gown hugged my petite curves, ending above my thighs. I tried in vain to pull it down to my knees as Justin complimented me.
"I think you look amazing in it anyway," he said.
I didn't know how to respond, so I slipped on my knee-length heels and let my hair cascade down my shoulders, attempting to cover up the exposed parts of my chest.
"For Christ's sake Cara" I murmured
I don't know what I'm going to do with that girl, I thought to myself.
Justin chuckled as he held out his hand for me to take, leading me towards the club entrance. The music was loud, the lights were flashing, and the energy was high.
As we made our way through the crowd, I couldn't help but feel self-conscious in my revealing dress.
But Justin's reassuring smile and confident presence by my side made me feel more at ease.
As our eyes landed on the VIP table ahead, my focus zeroed in on Ash, his expression grim and indicating his reluctance to be there. Amanda's presence next to him only heightened the tension.
Cara, noticing me, abruptly got up from her seat and dashed over to me. "I've been waiting for ages!" she exclaimed loudly. "That dress looks amazing on you," she added, pulling me into a hug.
"You might have chosen the wrong dress code, Cara," I murmured discreetly.
"Come on, you look stunning. I already noticed two guys eyeing you," Cara said enthusiastically, gesturing towards the pair who were smiling and winking at us incessantly.
The pit of my stomach twisted as I observed them, stealing a glance at Ash. He gave me a cold, assessing look, a small grin teasing the corner of his mouth.
My insides churned, feeling like a swarm of butterflies had taken residence there.
"Come on, I want you to meet someone special," Cara declared, tugging me to where she sat. A handsome blond man flashed me a smile as we approached.
"Jace, meet my dearest friend and confidante, Allison," Cara introduced.
Her deliberate emphasis on "trusted friend" made me feel like she was trying to make me appear guilty, though deep down, I knew I wasn't.
Leaning in, I quietly asked her, "Is this the guy you left me for?"
Cara squeezed my hand gently, her eyes pleading. "You know I adore you, please don't make a scene. Just go along with it," she whispered weakly before turning to face him.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Allison. I'm Jace," he greeted, offering his hand with a friendly smile.
I smiled, reaching for a cup of alcohol and taking a sip, my gaze briefly flickering to Ash who appeared disinterested in Amanda's words.
Cara was preoccupied with Jace, completely unbothered by my presence. I shifted to give them space as they reconciled, raising an eyebrow at Cara's audacity.
She was lost in her world. Justin approached me, his eyes initially on Cara before returning to me.
Surprisingly unfazed by his sister's actions, he handed me a cup of alcohol from a bottle he picked up. Returning his smile, I accepted the drink.
Justin's hand rested on my lower back, sending shivers down my spine.
I leaned in closer to him, feeling his warmth, and whispered, "Thank you for being here with me tonight, I appreciate it."
He flashed me a grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "No problem, princess. Anytime you need a partner in crime, I'm here."
I smiled as I noticed Ash standing up to leave, biting my lip as I watched him. Amanda seemed unhappy with his choice, trailing behind him.
Seated, the music pulsated through me, but I couldn't shake the unease of leaving Amanda and Ash alone. Following the outside, I spotted Ash angrily berating Amanda.
His frustration was palpable. Amanda fought to hold back tears, her hand pressed against her mouth in a desperate attempt to stop them from falling.
I was taken aback, assuming they had a romantic moment, feeling foolish for my assumption.
Amanda departed, leaving Ash alone. He vented his frustration by kicking his car tire, but it backfired.
"That must hurt," I quipped as I approached.
Ash turned to me, surprise evident on his face as I caught up to him.
"Hello, cupcake," he greeted me with a mischievous smile, His gaze swept over me, taking in my outfit. "Nice look," he remarked.
Unsure if it was a compliment or a jest, I approached him. As raindrops began to fall, I hesitated, feeling them land on my face.
Ash glanced at the sky, then took my wrist, opening the back door of his car. Without a word, we both entered.
"We're sheltered from the rain," he noted.
"Safe?" I couldn't help but think the opposite as we sat in the confined space.
"Relax, cupcake," Ash said gently, noticing my trembling. He turned away, exuding calmness and charm.
How was he so composed and attractive in this situation? I shook my head, trying to clear my mind of such distracting thoughts.
"Did you know that having sex in a car can help reduce stress and anxiety?" he trailed off, his eyes fixed on me.
Caught off guard by his sudden mention of intimate activities, I hesitated, unsure of how to respond.
Ash moved closer, his hand gently exploring my face as he leaned in to kiss my neck. His lips traveled along my jawline to my mouth, igniting a passionate kiss that left me breathless.
As the intensity of the moment grew, he deepened the kiss, his actions becoming more fervent. I could sense his arousal as I straddled him.
With skilled hands, he unzipped my dress, letting it fall to my waist. His mouth found my boobs, eliciting a mix of sensations as he kissed, sucked, and nipped.
Lost in pleasure, I couldn't help but moan, my fingers gripping his skin. The sound of rain outside only added to the intensity of our encounter.
Ash's hand slid under my dress, gently caressing my clit as his kisses grew more intense, eliciting soft moans that escaped into our shared embrace.
I unzipped his pants, feeling his hardened length in my hand. I stroked him slowly, savoring the sound of his pleasure as he let out a deep moan, his head tilted back against the leather seat.
In a swift movement, he entered me, a gasp escaping my lips as I met his gaze. With a gentle kiss, he guided me into position, and soon I found myself instinctively moving my hips, seeking a deeper connection with him.
He started to stroke rhythmically, withdrawing and entering me again, peppering my chest with kisses as his pace quickened, bringing us closer to climax.
My moans grew louder, and amid pleasure, I managed to whisper, "I'm not on birth control, Ash."
Despite my hazy state, I wasn't certain if he heard me as he intensified his thrusts, pushing deeper within me. I could feel the tightening sensation as my body responded to his throbbing presence.
The warmth spread within me as he released himself, biting my lower lip in a moment of shared release. Wrapping my arms around him, I let go of the pleasure as well.
Ash rested his head on my chest, staying connected as our breaths began to calm. I smiled and gently kissed his lips.
"Should I drive you home or walk you back inside the club?" he inquired, his eyes twinkling with understanding.
Pulling away, I settled back into the seat, smoothing out my dress and hair.
"I had a good time," I said boldly.
Ash sat there, looking surprised, before offering me a strange expression followed by one of his mischievous smiles.
"Sure, whatever," he replied.
