Culprit

Despite everything, Tamara didn't think she would be given a sumptuous meal, she expected to be served porridge at the most but not only was she given a whole meal, but there were several side dishes to accompany the food and an assortment of fruits. Even though she was terribly hungry, she could only eat very little and surprisingly enough, she didn't throw up like she thought she would.

"For someone that said she was hungry, you sure eat so little," William commented after watching her pick at the food.

"I am sorry," Tamara whispered knowing they went to all the trouble to get so much for her in so little time.

"Now, would you care to tell me who hired you?" William asked after regarding her carefully.

"Hired me? I haven't had a client since I started," Tamara lamented, she was sitting comfortably on a chair now and didn't look as scared as she was before, "Why did you ask?" she asked, but William had had enough, she was either playing stupid or doesn't even know what was going on, which means Josh was hiding something.

"Who are you?" William asked very slowly, it was evident that he was struggling to keep it together.

"My name Is Tamara Wesley, I also have a question of my own. Why did you kidnap and bring me here?" she asked, eyeing the man on the wheelchair and wondering what he planned to do with her since he was the only one having a direct conversation with her, it means he is the boss.

"Stay here," William told her and began to wheel his chair to the center of the room, all he did was give a signal to the bulky guys in the room, and they all took position around the room.

"Josh," he began, and he was shaking with guilt, "Was that a mistake or a deliberate act?" he asked and the one called Josh began to fidget before trying to bolt towards a possible exit, only one of the men are there to block him from running away and unlike the way they had picked Tamara up, they were exceptionally rough in handling Josh who after realizing there was no way out knelt in front of William to beg.

"Spare me boss, I didn't mean to deceive you," he said and was interrupted by William who raised an eyebrow.

"You lied to me because you want to protect the real assassin?" William asked, the temperature of the room dropping below zero instantly. Tamara watched the scene unfold with her mouth open, why are they turning against each other? What assassin was he talking about? She wondered if she had been brought to a show where the camera people and crew men hides in another room and record every action, she expected to see them jump in any minute shouting 'cut' like they do in movies, She was fascinated she got to see some real life action before she dies. This would be a sweet memory to take with her when she leaves. Only, the crew men never appeared which worried her a little.

"I am sorry boss, I never want to disappoint you" Josh repeated.

"Who is that?" William asked, pointing at Tamara who was watching the scene with keen interest.

"She...she...I don't know," was the solemn reply of Josh getting William even more angry than he already was.
