Chapter 4

Slowly advancing to the next day, the moment for the tutoring session emerged. Tyler stood outside Tessa's dorm room, knuckles ready to knock. He took a deep breath, attempting to dispel the memories of the previous day's unexpected encounter by the pool.

As Tyler gently knocked on the door, a mix of anticipation and curiosity enveloped him. The door opened, revealing Tessa, and Tyler's eyes widened at the sight before him—a face that had occupied his thoughts since the poolside meeting.

"Tessa Green?" Tyler's voice held a hint of disbelief, struggling to reconcile the image before him with the tempting presence from yesterday.

Tessa nodded, her voice barely audible. "Yes, I'm Tessa Green."

Tyler's gaze lingered on her, absorbing the familiar features he had seen without glasses in the pool. A subtle thrill ran through him, realizing that the campus genius was the same captivating girl from yesterday.

Resting the side of his jaw on his bent elbow, Tyler looked up at Tessa with a challenging glint in his eyes. "Aren't you going to start teaching me? Or are you planning to sit down and let me teach you something more fun?"

The air in the room seemed to thicken as Tessa processed Tyler's words. She hesitated for a moment, then pulled up a chair and took a seat, determined to focus on the tutoring session.

Tyler, however, was relentless. His charismatic smirk persisted as he continued to playfully push boundaries, injecting an unexpected dynamic into what was meant to be a straightforward tutoring arrangement.

Tessa, maintaining her composure, responded with a raised eyebrow, "We're here to study, Tyler, not indulge in your idea of 'fun.' Let's focus on the subject."

Undeterred, Tyler leaned back, feigning innocence. "Oh, come on, Tessa. Where's your sense of adventure? Studying doesn't have to be boring."

Tessa couldn't help but roll her eyes, but a hint of a smile played on her lips. "Tyler, we're here to study, not for your antics. Focus."

Undeterred, Tyler continued, "But what if I find calculus a lot more interesting when you're the one explaining it?"

Tessa scoffed, but the subtle blush on her cheeks betrayed her amusement. "Flattery won't get you far in solving equations."

Tessa couldn't help but scoff at the audacity of his suggestion. "Our main goal is to study, not to indulge in bets or games."

Undeterred, Tyler persisted, a sly grin forming. "Come on, Tessa, live a little or Unless you're afraid of losing to the infamous bad boy?. Maybe every time I get a right answer while we’re studying, you'll kiss me On the location of my request.”

A reddish blush appeared on tessa's face as she stuttered thinking about what to say. After a few minutes of silence, Tessa regained her composure. A competitive spark ignited in Tessa's eyes as she accepted the challenge. "Fine, I choose the former but if I win, you have to promise to take this tutoring seriously for the rest of the semester."

The stakes set, they delved into the next equation with newfound determination. The room buzzed with the hum of intellectual exchange, punctuated by occasional laughter that bridged the gap between their seemingly opposite worlds.

Leaning back in his chair, he shot Tessa a mischievous grin. "You know, Tessa, I've got to admit, this whole studying thing isn't my scene. But being here with you might just change my mind."

Tessa raised an eyebrow, skeptical but a little bit flushed. "My goal is to ensure you have a solid understanding of calculus, whether I'm present or not, as I haven't yet helped you achieve that."

Undeterred, Tyler continued with a suggestive tone, "Come on, Tessa, admit it. You're secretly enjoying this, aren't you? The thrill of taming the bad boy and turning him into a modest student."

Tessa chuckled, shaking her head. "I highly doubt that's happening, Tyler. Let's stick to the equations."

Tyler, persisting in his flirtatious banter, leaned in slightly. "But imagine the possibilities, Tessa. You, the genius tutor, and me, the reformed bad boy—quite the dynamic duo, don't you think?"

Tessa rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. "Tyler, channel your attention towards solving the math problems, rather than creating elaborate scenarios."

With a playful wink, Tyler conceded, "Geez, your so cold and serious, alright, back to business. But mark my words, Tess, you might find yourself enjoying this collaboration more than you think."

Tessa kept quiet as she flipped through the pages of the book, ignoring him like he wasn't in front of her. She tilts her head, exasperated, and it’s almost as hot as the eye rolling. “Have you paid attention to a single word I’d said?”

“Every fucking line, honey. Quiz me.” Tyler beat his chest with a fist. “Let’s do this.”

“Very well, we’ll start easy. Who fought in the Peloponnesian War?”

“Athens and Sparta..” Tyler crook his finger, beckoning her closer. He noticed there has been way too much space between them for way too long. “Might as well stay right here in front of me, because I’m getting them all right.”

“quite a cocky man huh?.”

“Nope, Not cocky, it is what anyone would call being Confident"

“Next question, Tessa,” Tyler grit out, his hands shaking with the need to crush her hips closer, where he can grind out some relief.

“Right” She nods and continues “Which battle ended the war and how?”

“The Battle of Aegospotami. It ended in the destruction of Athens’ fleet of ships.”

Tyler was not going to lie, when she cuts him an impressed glance, he almost ejaculate then and there. Who knew he would like to please his tutor so much?

“You were listening,” she says.

“I’ll never forget a single word you say.”

“Who…who was Charlemagne?”

“Charlemagne.” Tyler's own thoughts are hazy of anything except for Tessa, but he push through the dirty lust in order to land his final deal. “Uh…also known as Charles the Great. King of Franks. United Western and Central Europe.”

“Yes,” she exhales, face full of pleasure.

A groan slips out between his teeth. “Goddamn, I like you being proud of me.”

“I am,” she whispers

“Um…th-the capital of the Byzantine Empire.” His dick throbs harder, as if sensing victory.

“Constantinople.”

Her smile flutters. She’s dazed. Gasping. “You’re definitely going to pass the test.”

“All I care about is passing yours.” Tyler said with a grin.

“Anyways, that's all for today”
