Voice 1:Wow mum this place is beautiful.

Voice2:Eh it’s not as good as I imagined.

Voice 1:Ugh why do you always have to be like this Ian?Reprimanding everything that doesn’t go your way?

Voice 2: No one asked you Inoa.

Lexiana couldn’t help but smile and let out a small giggle as she watched her twin pups bicker.

Lexiana:Come on don’t be like that.The both of you should get along.This is your first time in the amusement park.You should have fun,not argue.

Lexiana reprimanded though she had to admit the fact that they did look cute when they argued on small silly matters.

Ian:Tell it to Inoa mum,she should really stop being a control freak.

Inoa scoffed,crossing her little arms.

Inoa:Please we all kNow you’re angry because I was better than you in arithmetic class yesterday.

Ian growled,clearly annoyed by his sister’s behavior yet it was a small one that Lexiana found cute.

Ian:It’s not my fault Mr.Matthews didn’t write the arithmetic calculation right.If 0 plus 0 is 0 then one plus cant be two it makes no sense!

Inoa rolled her eyes face palming herself.

Inoa:Just admit you’re dumb Ian.

Ian:No you’re dumb.

Inoa:No you’re dumb!

Lexiana:Enough!

Lexiana snapped and the both of them clamped their mouths shut,obeying their mother immediately.

Lexiana:Can’t you guys not argue just for today?

Lexiana pleaded as she held the hands of her twin and walked into the park.They were always twins with a huge difference in personality and it was strange because twins born in many packs were always one.Same mind,Same attitude,one love but her twins were the complete opposite.All Lexiana wanted was to have just one good time with her children since it had been a while she had taken them out due to how much work she had been doing.Now that she was fired and searching,she’d use it as a chance to hang out with them.

Inoa:Ok mother I’ll do it for your sake.

Inoa was the mature,smart and extremely calculative one.When it came to brains Inoa was the highest and was always one of the top threes in the entire Pack school but her minor set back was that she was too naive and emotionally weak.

Ian:I can’t assure you a whole day cause Inoa is freaking annoying.

Ian was the strong,fast and had a thing with agility.There was no school pack fight,training sessions or hunt that he wasn’t the top one.Some saw him to be a bully and the teachers were highly against him growling cause when he did,he always scared the heck out of the other pups.Minor set back,the agility in his brain was less than five percent.Different personality,different features but yet looked so much alike.All this was surprising to Lexiana.

Lexiana:Ian.

Lexiana reprimanded not liking how her son was using such vulgar words.He was just six years old same as Inoa yet he could say things matured people could. ‘Who is their father anyways?’Lexiana always wondered.

Ian:Sorry Mum.

Lexiana:That’s more like it.Now come on let’s go.

Lexiana chirped as she walked her skipping children further into the Pack to get some cotton candy.

Lexiana:Now we must stick together ok this place is rather rowdy.

Lexiana told them,her gentle blue eyed roamed the pack knowing well this state of rowdiness would surely get them lost.They both nodded their heads simultaneously and it made Lexiana satisfied.

Lexiana:Two cotton candy please.

She told the He wolf in the cotton candy stand.

Inoa:No you mean one,cotton candy has too much sugar.I’d rather have the delicious crunchy and purely popped corn product made purely out of the sweetened liquid called honey.Since that’s perfectly healthy.

Lexiana blinked rapidly at Inoa’s words.Sometimes when she spoke,it always made other people feel....dumb.

Lexiana:Just one will be ok.

She whispered.

Ian:If you wanted popcorn,just say it.Must you list all the nutrients.

He grumbled.

Ian:Yes cause it’s the only way to prove I’m smarter than you.

She retorted making Ian growl in anger.

Ian:Why you little....

Lexiana:Ok Ian have your candy.You’re already talking too much.

Lexiana shoves the candy in his face in order to ease his angered mind before letting go of his hand to pay the cotton candy seller.

Vendor:Your children are kinda cute.

The vendor commented and Lexiana smiled at the handsome man who looked too good to be selling cotton candy in a children’s amusement park.He had that flirty smile on his face that Lexiana found quite attractive.

Lexiana:Yeah they can be a lot.

She giggled.

Ian:Cute?I’m not cute.

Ian retorted after removing the candy from his mouth.

Inoa:There he goes again.

Inoa mumbled.

Ian:I’m the perfect description of a young handsome lad who girls including my sister worship so technically I’m a handsome god.

Ian praised himself,like the narcissistic person he was. ‘Narcissistic st such s young age.Oh boy.’

Lexiana:Ian.

She reprimanded and he shrugged his tiny shoulders.

Lexiana:Sorry about him.

Lexi said after paying him his money and holding their hands ready to leave before they said any other thing that was off.

Vendor:It’s ok,hope you come next time.

Lexiana nodded before walking her children away from the cotton candy stand.

Lexiana:Ian it’s really rude to be correcting your elders like that.

She softly told the six years old boy who rolled his eyes.

Ian:Please mum I only said the truth,am I not handsome?

His question made Inoa and Lexiana spare each other a glance before bursting into uncontrollable laughter that made Ian boil in rage.

Ian:Grrh I am handsome!

He yelled but Lexiana’s laughter slowly died when her sensitive ears picked up strange sounds. ‘Something isn’t right,’Lexiana thought and she suddenly heard rustling of leaves and deep growling.Before she could react,out of the bushes sprang a large brown wolf ready to attack her and her pups but before she could retailiate or even blink,a black and white wolf sprang out of nowhere and jumped on the brown wolf killing it in the process.Lexiana’s heart beated rapidly against her chest as the grip on her pups’ arms grew tight.It was when she registered a woman’s screams did reality dawn on her.

Woman:Rogues!

Rogues, they were being attacked by rogues.
