Prologue

Lexiana’s eyes snapped opened as she gasped in fear out of the sudden and unknown voice behind her.Her head snapped back,the wind throwing her brown curls on her face making her sight blur.But it didn’t stop her from seeing the hoodied figure that sat on the large bench.The dark hoodie made it almost impossible to see his face or maybe it was because her vision was blurry.She couldn’t tell.

Lexiana:W-What?

She asked watching the dark stranger stand up heading towards her before resting on the bridge side with a large bottle of what seemed to be whiskey in his hands.She would have panicked but due to her partially drunken state and suicidal thoughts,nothing mattered anymore.

Stranger:It’s a long way down.If you wanna commit suicide there are better ways than this.This way will cause you excruciating pain.

His voice was cold,emotionless yet it sounded sexy in Lexiana’s ears.Judging by his voice if he was to remove his hoodie maybe he would be an eye catcher.

Lexiana:You do not understand.U actually deserve the pain so do not interfere.

Lexiana didn’t know why but she felt like as if her tone and voice,especially how she rudely spoke to him was wrong but she’d do anything to die.

Stranger:I do not but I do not appreciate someone dying in one of my favorite spots so get down...now!

His voice was authoritative and it sounded like if she went against it,she might suffer a fate worse than death.So without speaking any further she came down from the bridge though due to her drunken state she almost tripped but she held herself as she watched the hoodied stranger staring at her through the peering darkness of his hoodie,completely embarrassing herself by staggering.She staggered to the bench and sat down.Why couldn’t she even die in peace?She suddenly felt a presence next to her and she didn’t know why her mind brewed with anger that he destroyed her only chance of committing suicide.

Lexiana:You shouldn’t have done that.You ruined everything!

She snapped at him,tears that wanted to spill became anger.

Lexiana:I wanted to stop it.I wanted to end it.I don’t deserve to live and it’s all my fault!...it’s my fault.

Her voice softened as she fount herself crying again.The hoodied stranger watched as the strange woman poured out her feelings with an expressionless look of unconcern yet interest on his face.She intrigued him for some weird reason.She was shocked when she saw a familiar bottle of golden brown liquid stretched in front of her.

Stranger:Drink,it helps.

Lexiana thought about it she was already drunk,it wouldn’t hurt to have some more.She collected the bottle from his hand and the stranger couldn’t ignore the sparks he felt when they touched. ‘Strange.’He watched as she chugged the toxic liquid down her throat.He watched as tears slipped down her eyes as she drank.She breathed heavily immediately she set the bottle down.Feeling the burning effects of the liquid kicking in as she blinked repeatedly.

Lexiana:T-this is good s-stuff.

She murmured in her Now drunken state.She stood up giggling crazily while the stranger’s eyes were fixed on the beautiful drunk woman.

Lexiana:H-he c-called me a craz-zy vir-gin.How date he not understand why I can’t have sex with him,uh?
