Chapter 2 - "Blinded!"

At that time Clara Fang and Judith Yang who came out of the room saw Charles Zhang sitting there, and Sharon Gu go to the bathroom.

"I didn't think you had changed this much Charles, you were blinded by love!" said Judith Yang to Charles Zhang placing a teapot in the table

"You are so cruel to hurt your mother's feelings, even though you already know that you have been matched with a respected lady from the Gao family!" said Clara Fang to Charles Zhang

"But I never wanted to be matched with her before, they forced me too!" reply Charles Zhang to them

"Now that I'm older, I feel that there's nothing wrong with choosing my own life!" said Charles Zhang to them standing up

Sharon Gu, who came out of the bathroom, accidentally heard that feel sad, then she planned to hide for a while in the kitchen.

"Oops, excuse me!" said a servant who holding a basket of vegetable

"Are you young master Charles' wife, you look very beautiful!" praise a servant to Sharon Gu

"Thank you so much!" reply Sharon Gu to her

"We will cook a delicious dinner to celebrate the return of young master Charles and his wife!" said the servant then walked away

Sharon Gu then walked out, smiling kindly at her sister-in-law.

"Let's just get out of here, we'll be back for dinner later!" said Charles Zhang to Sharon Gu

"Where are we going?" ask Sharon Gu confused suddenly been pulled by Charles Zhang

It turns out that after leaving they got into a car and headed to a house near the edge of town.

"This house, whose house is this?" ask Sharon Gu confused to Charles Zhang

"We'll stay here, I won't let them treat you like that!" said Charles Zhang to Sharon Gu

"Young Master Charles, you finally came after getting your letter, I have been staying here for the past 3 days!" said a servant run towards them

"Let me introduce, she is Lina Zhu, one of my childhood friends!" introduce Charles Zhang to Sharon Gu

"Just call me Lina, young master and I are the same age!" said Lina Zhu to Sharon Gu with a smile

"Oh, I'm Sharon Gu, just call me Sharon!" said Sharon Gu with a smile

"Then I will go first to see my mother's condition, I will be back in a moment!" said Charles Zhang then got inside the car

"No, I should still call you Miss, Young Madam Zhang!" said Lina Zhu to Sharon Gu

"It's okay, we're the same age, Charles and I are only about 2 months apart!" said Sharon Gu holding Lina Zhu hand with a smile

"No I won't do that, since childhood the young master was never allowed to play with us!" said Lina Zhu to Sharon Gu while helping her to carry the suitcase

"He was even willing to get punished, when we ate the food that should have been served to the master and madam!" said Lina Zhu opening the door

Sharon Gu, who heard this, knew why Charles was such a kind and generous person.

"Okay, this is your new house, I cleaned it a few days ago when I first got here!" said Lina Zhu to Sharon Gu putting the suitcase in a chair

"I'm so glad they're finally gone, I thought he'd never come back again!" said Clara Fang while laughing

"I think Charles is helping us to take a step forward!" said Judith Yang while laughing

"What are you guys laughing at? Did I miss something?" ask Mary Lin who just came in from outside mansion

"Mary, why did you come home so suddenly like this?" ask Clara Fang who just laughing shocked then standing up

"Hi Aunt Judith, Aunt Clara, long time no see!" said Grace Zhang, Mary Lin's daughter with a smile

"I heard that little brother has come back so it's time for the family dinner so I came early!" said Edwin Zhang to Clara Fang

"I think it could be cancelled!" said Clara Fang to Edwin and Mary

"Why, did something happen, did little brother not come home?" ask Edwin Zhang to Clara Fang confused

"No, I can't explain that, Judith, you can explain it yourself!" said Clara Fang to Judith Yang

"No need for further explanation, I'm back, right?" said Charles Zhang walking from behind

"Hey long time no see, I miss you so much!" said Edwin Zhang suddenly to Charles Zhang who just walk in

"So what do you want to say?" ask Mary Lin to Clara Fang and Judith Yang

"That!" said Clara Fang to Mary Lin suddenly paused

"Grace, you go play in the room first!" said Mary Lin to her daughter

"That Charles just came back this morning with a woman!" said Judith Yang to Clara Fang

"What, don't tell me that woman is his girlfriend?" ask Mary Lin shocked

"No even worse, the woman is his wife, they got married 2 weeks ago in W city!" said Clara Fang to Mary Lin

"So you're saying that's what made mother want to cancel this event?" ask Mary Lin to them shocked

Clara Fang and Judith Yang nodded, Mary Lin immediately smiled and then went into the room to meet Sylvia Wang who was resting in the room.

"I heard that mother wasn't doing well, so Edwin and I planned to move back and take care of mother for the time being!" said Mary Lin to Sylvia Wang with a smile

"Of course we miss you all very much, thank you for making this decision!" said Sylvia Wang while holding a cup of water

Mary Lin smiled because she felt this was her chance to reclaim the property that her in-laws would inherit.

Initially she moved out because she felt Charles Zhang would become their rival, but it seems like now her chance has returned.
