Chapter 18:GrandMa

On a Sunny Afternoon Mrs Mary was packing up some of her important stuff in the living room,for the relocation,suddenly A note fell down from Where only God Knows,she picked it up looked around and wondered how managed it got there, she then asked her kids...

"Telsa,Jack,Joking around again?...Are you kids playing with papers again?...

" No mommy "...They answered from a distance

Mrs Mary herself was A bit confused, as she tried to Calculate where it fell from.

She immediately gave up and decided to read what's on the note.

"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘙𝘶𝘯, 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘺?

Mrs Mary was again surprised and Just dropped the note somewhere and Carried on with her work

          .........Grandma's house.....

" Peggy I need to use the Bathroom, help me up " ......said Grandma

"Yes Mrs Henry ,Here you go.... easy"....Said Peggy

Peggy slowly led the old woman into the bathroom and closed the door, for her to finish up....

"Mrs Henry,Call me if you need help with anything, I'm close to the door"....instructed The Maid

"yes dear!

Peggy had been Mrs Henry's Maid,wondering who's Henry,He was Her husband and also Mrs Mary's father,a retired Police officer,before he passed away......since ever when Mary her daughter was about getting married, Mary's Fiance, Bob thought she'll be left all alone in a Medium Big Apartment, that was when he introduced the lady Peggy to her, Luckily for Mrs Henry,Peggy was a kind girl then, and still up to now, Peggy is literally her daughter.

Its was just 1mim 3 secs when Mrs got inside the bathroom, ...when her scream was heard, Peggy Quickly struggled with door which wasn't locked earlier, Peggy was surprised about this.... about some 30sec The door was nice, and Peggy had her way in, Hopefully thinking nothing had happened to Mary's Mother,Mrs Henry,Peggy also let out a scream.

About some Hours, Mrs Mary was exhausted and decided to take a rest, when she received a shocking call from her mom's Maid...... "What has happened?,... was her thoughts...

She picked up the call...

ON THE PHONE......

.....Hello..... yes..... What?.....*Stood up in panic*

I'll be right there, ..... yes please....

"mom? Telsa called out

"Telsa ,Jack put on your sweaters, get in the car now! .... she instructed

" But mom to where? Asked Jack

"Granny is in the hospital"

"But she wasn't sick lately" replied telsa

"It's a Without day, anything can happen" She Responded

without wasting any time they drove to the hospital,.... Even Mrs Sara Was surprised about Mary's Reckless driving, she wondered what had happened.....

Mrs Mary Alongside her kids,on reaching the hospital,they hopped out from the car, Then rushed in the hospital, She Immediately meet a nurse and asked her for directions...

"Hello! Greeted Mrs Mary

" you must Mrs Mary.... Said the Nurse

"Yes, My Mom was admitted here sometimes Ago" She Replied

"Come with me! Instructed the nurse

She Lead Mrs Mary and her kids to the patient ward and to the room where her mother was admitted.

Mrs Mary Banged the door and Found Her mom's maid,peggy weeping, ...Mary's mom was on her Bed, with oxygen fixed On her nose, She needed no one to tell her that her mom had gone into a Coma....

" You're here! said the Maid Peggy

"I'm I late? Mrs Mary asked slowly

Telsa and Jack where hiding behind their mother....

She Immediately noticed and Turned to the kids...

In their Eyes,was full of Fear as she stares deep inside....

" It's okay! She confronted them

"What has happened to grandma? Asked Jack

" She'll be fine, I promise, Nothing will happen to her" she Said to him

She then turned to Peggy,....

"What happened actually?

Peggy Slowly Cleaned her Tears and explained the incident....

" She asked me to take her to the bathroom, that she was pressed, which i did,......

...though I don't normally follow her in ,.....She'll always said that she's fine in there, So I didn't even Do it last night, I was only standing right behind the door, And then I heard her scream, Just once, like a flash...

By then Peggy began to tear up, uncontrollably.....

......I.... I.... then quickly rushed in to check on her, she was on the floor, her eyes were not even blinking,and were wide open,she looked like someone who has been strucked by the lightning".....peggy Cried even more

Mrs Mary Walked up to her and make her placed her head on her shoulder to confront her too....

"It's okay, don't cry"

"She's been my Savior, all these years, She's like a mother to me, when my mother abandoned me, why won't I cry?.... She replied and continued to cry silently....
