..."let me out, let me out!" Gabriela shouts....

..."can you shut your mouth and sit down already? You have been shouting ever since you entered, you're giving me a headache." vera said out in anger....

...In the van Gabriela was kidnapped were other children of her age, they were five. Elspeth, Vera, Ella, Scott and Martin. Looking at all the other kids, she sat down quietly.they travelled for a while until they heard the van stop.the back door was opened and the two men told them to move out and head for the building where two ladies were standing.gabriela couldn't believe what was happening.'who were these people and where were they going?' she kept on asking herself as they headed inside the building....

..."We're so happy to see you here, I'm sure you must be asking yourselves where you're right now but there is no need to worry because this will become your new home and in this place you will find people who will love you. So don't you worry, I'm guessing your hungry right now, so I think it will be best if we first get all of you cleaned up and then have a little meal together. What do you think?" the lady questioned. "yes ma'am, we would really appreciate that." Elspeth said out cheerfully....

...In one hour time, Gabriela and the others were dressed in sweatpants and shirts. The lady who had spoken earlier led us to the dinning room....

..." Hmm you guys should really try this out, it's really amazing." Elspeth said with her mouth full....

..."Can you at least swallow before you talk?"Vera said out in disgust....

..."Look here, I kind of having a good moment in my life right now, and I don't think you qualify to ruin it, so if I'm enjoying my meal, and you feel bad about it then you have got a problem not me "Elspeth replied adding a full rice spoon to her mouth....

..."Is she serious right now?" Vera said out....

...Scott stood up and left for another table, Gabriela had not heard his voice ever since they were on that van. He had not said a word. Not long enough, Martin did the same thing. He left the table and joined Scott. They both had the same kind of conduct in the way they did there stuff. They were always together as if they had known each other way back.they gave off an atmosphere of coldness to everyone through their silence. As for Vera she was one girl who wasn't to be messed with. Everything made her mad and disliked connecting with people accept her sister Ella who was a complete opposite of her, she was more gentle and peaceful. She was a person you would want to interact with. As for Elspeth, she was a different story, she loved eating and talking, at least everyone had got to know that though sometimes it was annoying but accept from that she didn't have any problem, she was peaceful....

...Gabriela looked at her cloths, the food and the people she was with ,, but something just didn't smell right,, and she felt it. The Lady came back, and they proceeded to the next step. She took them to the next floor where she allocated them to a room....

..."Are we going to stay in one room?"Vera questioned....

..."That's right, there are four beds and there are six of you. I'm sure you will share them properly. This is what I can do for now. Tomorrow we shall allocate you to the rooms you are supposed to in so there is no need to for you to worry. With that said I will be leaving now. Rest well."...

..."I can not believe this."Vera said out as soon as the lady left....

..."We shall take the upper bed." Ella said calmly....

..."Then that means I will share with you "Elspeth said pointing towards Gabriela....

..."I will take the upper bed." martin said out as he turned to climb the bed....

...That night Gabriela kept on twisting side to side, she couldn't sleep. She opened her eyes for a while and then moved out of bed. She stood via the window for a while until she heard a voice....

..."Can't sleep?" Scott said out....

..."For a while back I thought you couldn't speak." Gabriela said turning back....

..."I don't speak too much."...

..."Interesting."...

..."Why are you standing there?"...

..."Can't sleep, my mind isn't settled about this place. I have messed up feelings about it."...

..."Thought you would be happy like the others."...

..."For the cloths, food and shelter, of course I'm happy, but I don't know, something is missing. What is this place anyway? Is it an orphanage, a day care for the needy or something? I just can't get my mind of it."...

..."Indeed, that's how everybody sees this place, but it's not what it looks like." Scott said approaching the window....

..."What do you mean? Have you been to this place before?"...

..."Yes I have, some time back."...

..."Really?then why are you back again, weren't you adopted or something?"...

..."Adopted!how I wish."...

..."Then won't you tell me why you're back here and how you left?"...

..."This place holds a lot of memories that I can never forget, but that's a story for another day, go to sleep. Sister Victoria will be back tomorrow early in the morning to wake you so you better sleep "Scott said going back to his bed....

..."Hey wait," Gabriela called as she moved to her bed. "Don't leave me hanging, tell me something more."she added, but Scott had shut his eyes closed, and no sound came from him....

...Early the next morning, Gabriela opened her eyes wide, and she could hear sister Victoria's voice from a far as the siren rung. She sat upright and the first thing she could see was Scott. He glanced her way with cold eyes as he tied his shoe laces. He left the room without a word and Martin followed....

..."Is he really dumb?he literally hasn't said a word ever since we arrived here." Elspeth said out....

...Vera jumped down her bed and moved out. Ella came down too....

..."You shouldn't be concerned with what doesn't concern you "Ella said out and followed out as well....

..."They are birds of the same feather, they're the same, cold and harsh."Elspeth said....

...Gabriela's mind wasn't on what Elspeth was worried about, she could only think of the conversation they had with Scott the previous night. She wanted to know how he had got out of here. She came out of the room and children if different ages were everywhere heading to the dinning room. She looked around for a while until Elspeth put her hand on her shoulder....

..."Shall we?"she said and they both headed down to the dining room....

...They had there seats and soon the two ladies walked in....

..."Good morning to all of you my dear children. Today before we have our breakfast, we shall introduce some new faces. Please stand up."she said as she looked at their direction."these people here are our new friends and from today onwards we shall treat each other as brothers and sisters, is that okay?" yes sister Victoria....
