Chapter 1

Gabriel’s POV

I took a minute to relax on the sofa after cleaning the house, and because I was tired I fell asleep.

My stomach was rumbling when I woke up, so I checked the time and saw that it was already 5:00 pm, which meant that it was dinner time, so I got up and cooked. I prepared the things I needed for what I'd be cooking, I eventually cooked rice

After cooking, I serve the food on the dining table so that he can eat it when he comes home.

I head to my room for a shower, I don't feel like eating tonight. So I just decided to sleep after taking a bath.

As I was about to sleep I heard a horn that signalled that he was there so I quickly left my room and opened the gate for him

"Have you finished cooking?" he asked in a cold tone.

“Yes, the food has already been served on the table“ I replied to him.

He ignored me and headed to the dining room. I sighed before closing the gate and entering the mansion.

I was heading straight to my room when he suddenly asked me.

"Where are you going?" he asked with a serious expression.

"I'm going to my room” I answered him briefly.

He said in a cold and deep tone, "Without eating?"

Before heading to my room, I told him that I was still full and wouldn't eat and asked him to put the plate in the sink and told him I would wash it later when I woke up.

I hardly ever leave the mansion, and when I do, it's usually only once or for something urgent. I can't even hang out with my friends anymore because they don't know where I live, and Kael doesn't want them to.

My friends know that I'm married but they don't know the way he's treating me I choose to keep it a secret to avoid causing trouble to them

I woke up at 5:00 am to prepare for Kael's needs.

After showering and getting dressed, I immediately went out of my room to do things I needed to do today

After cooking, I served the dish on the table and then made him a cup of coffee.

Afterwards, I went to the garden to water the plants. I also fed our dog.

I heard a call of “GAB!!!” from inside, so I quickly went in to check. When I arrived, I asked Karl what was wrong. "What's the problem?" I asked him.

“There is no more stock in the fridge, go get groceries later and I will leave, but before you leave make sure the whole house is locked.”

He coldly ordered me to bring him lunch at the company. I simply nodded in response.

He gave me money for the things I would buy later.

I rested first and after a few minutes of rest I decided to change my clothes so I could get groceries for food now

After finishing my grocery shopping, I visited the bookstore to buy a new book for entertainment, since I had already read the one I had at the mansion multiple times.

I stopped at a shop to rest because I was exhausted carrying heavy items alone.

I ordered a smoothie and a cake at the coffee shop. While waiting for my order, I gazed through the glass wall watching people pass by.

As I watched the people passing by, someone suddenly tapped me so I looked and saw it was my friend Klian

"Hey Gaby, long time no see” he said with a smile on his face.
