**Flashback**

Both Pablo and Ezekiel were orphans and were in the same orphanage. Ezekiel was not very approachable and hardly talked to anyone. Pablo was a very cheerful person, their personalities were just opposite to each other. Orphanage was full of bullies who used to beat the children. One day one of them tried to hit young Ezekiel but our young Pablo came in between and got beaten up very badly. That's when they became friends they were inseparable. They did everything together. But the torture of the caretaker was increasing day by day, so they decided to run away and they almost did but the guard saw them running and chased them. Pablo asked Ezekiel to run fast because he is going to divert the guard he didn't listened to him but then the guard came way to close and so they started to run but Pablo got caught but he was still shouting for him to go and get some help

after which he started running as fast as he could, tears were drooling all over his face. That's when he met Lily's father “William Marcus” .

He was coming out from a business meeting when Ezekiel bumped into him, when he saw William he started to cry, William thought that he was hungry and needed something to eat but then Ezekiel told him everything after which the rushed to the orphanage with the cops but they were to late Pablo was beaten up very badly he wasn't even able move or open his eyes. They rushed to the hospital Pablo was unconscious for days, that's when Ezekiel decided to be on Pablos side no matter what. When Pablo woke up he was happy to see Ezekiel safe. William took them under his care when they were old enough and could take care of themselves. He let them go but he had one favor: he wanted them to protect his daughter.

**Back to present**

Now he is again in the same position unconscious and still so calm suddenly seaplane landed and everyone rushed to the hospital after few hours Arthur grained his consciousness but Pablo was still sleeping. Lily knew that she has fallen for him and can't help but to blame herself for what happened.

**One week later**

Lily went to the hospital to see Pablo when the doctor informed her that Pablo has woken up, she ran to see him, when she saw him sitting she went and hugged him tightly she had tears in her eyes and smile on her face, it was because she was very happy to see him.

***After a few days***

Pablo was discharged from the hospital he took Lily for a walk, it was silent in the beginning but then Liy said

“I am sorry for what happened, I didn't wanted you to get hurt"

Tears rolling down her eyes. Pablo smiled brightly and said

“I never blamed you for anything, then why are you saying sorry. I know you were trying to protect us, so thank you very much"

Lily had butterflies in her stomach. She was worried about what was happening to her; she has never felt this way she knew what this feeling was, but she still felt sad for hurting him even though it was unintentionally she was sad for being weak and was unable to help him (deep in thought).

There Pablo was calling her name which surprised Lily, but she reacted to it with a node. Pablo knew that she was still thinking about her father, but he didn't know that the thing that was making Lily sad right now was he and not his father.

An awkward silence filed air then Pablo said

"I know that you are still thinking about of you father, but I promise I will protect you"

That made Lily blush which can be noticed just by looking at her, she had no words to express her feelings.
