Wife is a Mafia

" Would you not help me remove my necktie and open the buttons of my sleeve? " Dante ask seriously . " But Ms. Lyn said he usually didn't need help at night? Is he doing this on purpose? " Lizzet thought.

Lizzet is having a hard time untying the necktie because it is her first time doing it. She is biting her lip while thinking the trick to untie it and Dante is having fun seeing her like this. Her eyebrow burrows after she unties it and go for his buttons. " See you tomorrow! " Dante is smiling while waving to Lizzet that is irritated.

The atmosphere is intense while all the leader of different districts are almost complete. " Seeing you , after the wedding makes me proud as your father-in-law. " Facundo who owns the tenth chair in the organization said with a proud voice. " Oh you don't know how I love the surprise you have given me 'father'. " Dante said, who owns the third chair in the organization . The number of chair signifies how powerful every leader is in the organization. As evidence, one of the leaders who own a powerful chair with a young age is Dante. He is well known for his playful attitude and is smiling even killing someone. Facundo smiles but fade away when he turned his back on him. " I am really not comfortable with that smile on his face every time I see him. But right now, finding my daughter is my priority. " Facundo thought.

" Why are you quiet today? You are usually talkative ." Lizzet ask while removing his tie. Dante smile" Oh so you also noticed? " He said like his usual self. " Or did I already catch your attention ? Willing now to throw yourself on me? " He asks. Her eyes narrowed in disgust and pat his arm accidentally as if saying 'stop with your not funny jokes on me'. She smiles.

" That is why you look familiar! You are her! Dante's wife! " One from the other class point Lizzet who is reading the break. " I am Debbie, My dad knew Dante, and I am one of your guest during your wedding. " She is the same age as Lizzet. She smiles. " You are happier compared the day of the wedding. " Debbie said as she sits beside her. " So how's a life of being a mafia's legal wife? " She asks in curiosity. " Legal wife? " Lizzet eyes burrows. " Well, mafia leaders are known to be playful on women and Dante is among them. Don't you know ? He is known as one among the mafia leaders that is single ...hmm mm...how to say it in simple way, a bachelor rich business guy before he got married. My father even want me to meet him, but I refused. " Debbie said. " Come to think of it, I knew nothing about him. Just a mafia leader. " Lizzet thought and closed the book that she is holding. " Your father is? " Lizzet ask. " Obviously I am a daughter of one of the mafia leader. Well, my father is not that popular among them, but he is still respected and one of the elders. " Debbie is talking as if being born to have a mafia father is a natural thing. " Anyway is it true that you are just married together to stop the dispute between your family and his? " Debbie likes to gossip as usual. " She don't have any idea of the switch between me and my cousin. " Lizzet thought. " Kind of? " Lizzet wants to know more information about Dante. " Well, I didn't know if you are lucky or doomed in marrying mafia but seeing you here, I can say that you are one of a lucky girl . " Debbie said. " I just hope that he will not loose interest in you . My mother left my dad when she does not take anymore how my dad being a womanizer. Honestly for me, I just want a normal family and as much as possible not to involve myself in mafia anymore. " Debbie said while staring into space as imagining something, maybe her future. Lizzet smiles, she thought that Debbie is one of those spoiled brats who just cares about material things but seeing her wishing for a normal life, she pities her. " What about Dante? How did he grow up into such a person? " Lizzet thought.

Because of some things that needed to be finished at school, Lizzet arrived home late . Ms. Lyn is waiting for her at the door panicking. " What happened? " Lizzet is worried . " Dante, he is.... hurting himself again and don't want anyone to enter the room. I am just here to tell you that he said not to let anyone enter his room. " Ms. Lyn takes a deep breath.

Lizzet cannot be at ease because of Dante. She bit her lips thinking of him hurting himself in his room. " He's been good to me. Why would he want to hurt himself? Love life? That is impossible! He will not himself for such things! " Lizzet thought. Then she find herself in front of his door after minutes. She wanted to knock but is afraid" What if he will shout at me? Or throw something to me? Ugh! I will just go inside! " Lizzet thought and open the door.

The room is dark and she cannot see anything. She smells a literal alcohol that is used in the hospital. Then she panicked, she open the light and see Dante who is lying in his bed with a wound on his biceps, blood is flowing from it . There is bottle of alcohol beside him , he seems put almost all of it to his wound then he sleeps. Lizzet get the first aid kit and while he is sleeping , she put a bandage on it to stop the bleeding. He open his eyes with a light on his face. He is confuse because he never open the light once he reached his bed , he feels that someone is putting bandage on his wound. " You should just be my personal nurse, than my maid. " Dante said while staring his wound being covered with bandage. " I don't expect you to be purposely getting a wound everytime you come home just for me to be your personal nurse. " she said. Dante laugh at her joke.
