Wife of a Mafia

While on the way Lizzet is confused about his words. Then she feels that the limousine stop as if it bumps into something hard. Her head even hit the window beside her because of how hard the thing that the limousine bump into. Then the door open, some men with tattoos and gun in their hands come to get Lizzet. She is confused and scared. " He's not here! " One of the men said. The one man that seems to be the leader kick the door. " He trick us! " He said. " But we have his wife? " One man said. " I can't believe he let his wife deceive us! " One of them scoff. Lizzet hearing this , she clench his her hand. " Now I see what he means! " She thought. " So what we will do with her boss? " one of the men ask. " Get her. We might get something useful from her. " the leader said.

Lizzet wearing her wedding dress is walking with them in the middle of the road going to their cars. Then a two wrangler come from the other side of the road bump into the cars of the men who were trying to abduct her. The men came from the wranglers have a gun with them and now is shooting the men with Lizzet. " The heck! That was fast! " The leader is hiding behind the car that is broken. " Boss, they are too many. We are not prepared! " One of his men said. " Do you think I don't know that?!" The boss kick the man who said that. The boss stare at Lizzet and she pushes her into the middle of them, the men from the other side stop. " We give her back ! We are even ! " The boss shouted. At that moment Lizzet stare at the men from the two wranglers" They are the men with Dante! " Lizzet thought. She immediately ran towards them and the moment she sits inside the car , the two wranglers went away.

Lizzet went down in front of a light brown mansion with a black big gate. Her wedding dress is now dirty white and her veil is all messed. An old woman wearing glasses is waiting for her in front of the door. " You must be my boss wife. Follow me. " She instructed with a formal voice. " I am housekeeper of the house, you can call me Ms. Lyn from this moment. " Ms. Lyn is walking to the corridor while Lizzet is following her silently in awe how big the mansion is.

They stop went to the lift to get to the first floor and stop in front of a room that have a big door. Ms. Lyn open it with the key in her hands. The room is wide and everything is designed traditionally. The queen size bed, the table cabinet beside the bed, the shower room and in fact it can be mini house because it has everything inside. " This room is built for a couple as you can see. This will be your room from now on, everything you need is in the closet . Dinner will be served at 6:30 , someone will pick you up at that time to bring you to kitchen. Rest first and change clothes. " Ms. Lyn smile gently.

After the door is closed, Lizzet unintentionally see her reflection in the mirror. There she sees her make up is ruined, her eyeliner almost melted. Her hair is everywhere, her forehead is a bit pink from bumping into the side window, her lipstick almost fade, and her white dress is now dirty white. She felt a liquid warm thing flowing into her cheeks. " I almost die today..." she is sobbing. " What did I do to deserve this? " She asks herself as if it will answer her question.

Someone is tapping her shoulder when Lizzet wakes up. From her uniform , she is a maid. " Miss, time for dinner. Please wake up, and I will show you the way to the kitchen. " She politely said. Lizzet nods because she is not comfortable with how she treats her with respect as if she is not the same age as hers. But still she does not want to be friendly with anyone because she doesn't know until when will she stay in that place.

They use the lift to go to the second floor and Lizzet find herself staring into the big long table ,at the end of it is Dante. He paused when he sees her but manage to put down his gaze in the food on the table. " The dress for your cousin suits you well. " Dante smiles as she is sitting beside him. She clenches her hand that is on her knee. "You must have too many questions like why did I let you live even I knew that you are fake. " He is smiling with a playful expression. " I am enjoying it. Letting your family thinks that I am a fool by letting you be my wife. But one thing is for sure, the moment I lose interest in you. I can just give you back, so you must impress me if you want to stay by my side. " He said.

Lizzet is shock when her body move on it's own and throw the fork that she is holding to him. But it did not hit him though. " I have enough of your nonesense! You knew that someone is waiting for you in the middle of the road, and you send me to ba a trap! " She said while controlling her anger. Dante is still smiling and relaxed. " Oh someone is mad for being threatened." It is a statement. " But do you even have a say into it? You married me. You knew who I was. You knew what I have to do for a living. And now you are complaining? " Dante said smiling while staring to Lizzet eyes. " Everyday I have to live like this. Do you think you can manage it? To become my legal wife? You passed the test though. " Dante said as if everything is a joke.
