Knox
They spent the next hour going over the basics of
handling a gun. He had her practice on several different
pistols so she got a feel for the different grips. Knox could
see that she was nervous and tense at first as she handled
the weapon, but as time went by and the more that he
showed her, the more comfortable she seemed to get.
She had been the perfect student. He hadn’t missed the
blush that had come to her cheeks when he’d called her a
good girl. Apparently, she liked when he called her that. He
wondered if she didn’t get enough praise from the people
around her, so he made sure to let her know every time that
he was pleased with her.
“Okay, I think you got that down. Let’s move over to the
firing lane.”
Knox walked over and pressed a button against the wall
which made a paper target move toward them on a cable
line. She followed him and stared at the outline of the upper
half of a body. He pointed toward the chest of the target.
“The chest and abdomen are the biggest parts of the
body which means when you are shooting, especially at a
further distance away, you want to aim for the chest or
stomach because it will be an easier target. If you are
shooting to kill instantly, aim for between the nipples or
between the eyes.”
He hit the button on the wall again, sending the target
back fifteen feet, and stepped back from the counter where
they had set down the weapons.
“Okay, come stand in front of me. I’m going to show you
how to properly stand and how to hold the gun correctly.”
Biting her bottom lip, Addie stepped forward slowly until
she was standing directly in front of him, her delicious scent
filling the air around them. She smelled like sweet
strawberries.
Jesus, your cock shouldn’t be getting hard from the smell
of strawberries.
Except it was. Because that smell made him see her as a
Little. The outfit. The scent. Her asking for a pink gun.
Everything about Addie told him that she was a Little. But
did she know what she was? And even if she did, that didn’t
mean she was the least bit interested in Knox. He still didn’t
even know if she was single.
The thought of any other man touching Addie made his
blood run cold. She wasn’t his, and for all that he knew she
might belong to someone else… and that made him feel a
bit murderous. It was a feeling to dissect another time. He
needed to focus on the task at hand.
Taking in a deep breath, Knox stepped forward until his
front was only an inch or two away from her back. If he got
any closer, she was going to feel the bulge in the crotch of
his pants.
“Pick up your pistol with your right hand and wrap your
fingers around the grip, keeping your index finger straight
instead of on the trigger,” he instructed.
As her hands moved toward the gun, Knox could see
them shaking. Before she could pick it up, he reached out
and wrapped his hands around her biceps and squeezed
gently. She flinched, and that pissed him off. Women didn’t
typically flinch unless they had a reason for flinching.
“Relax, Addie. Take a few deep breaths before you pick it
up.”
She let out a long breath.
“I’m a little scared,” she said quietly.
He gave her arms another gentle squeeze.
“It’s okay to be scared. Guns are not something to be
fearless about, but I’m right here with you, and you’re safe
with me.”
Taking several deep breaths, she reached out with a
steadier hand and picked up the pistol.
