Chapter 1 - Prologue

“Can you believe that? Kana was actually murdered.” Kang Xi jokingly said and wrapped his arms around Seong Ji's shoulder while walking “What's funny is that she's your sister-in-law.” He added.

“It's not funny it's disgusting...Being your brother in this lifetime is enough... Seong Ji rolled his eyes and sighed softly.

Kana who was walking ahead of them turned to look at the two “Did you guys really fell for her trick?” She said with despise.

“It's pretty convincing I'll say!” Kang Xi said.

“If your not convinced...Then why are we here?” Seong Ji said to himself but was loud enough for Kana to hear...Her eyes and eyebrows twitches as she hear him.

3 Days Ago

“Are you ready, Mei?!” Seong Ji shouted «He calls Kana, Mei/Younger sister.

Hi I'm Kana Li and I'm 18...Ever since I was a kid I would always get nightmares and dreams about the ancient times...

“Hurry up! We're going to be late!”

This is Kang Xi, He's only 3 months younger than Seong Ji, His interest is Martial Arts and unexpectedly good at it but he would frequently get migraines...

“Coming!” Kana yells while running towards them.

The three got off the car and went inside a vintage looking place.

As they enter, They were greeted by a middle aged looking woman... “Hello, Welcome to my shop..I'm Lisa.”

“Don't break anything!” Seong Ji yelled and looked back at the woman “Hi...My name is Seong Ji, This is Kana Li my sister...And the guy who is messing with your things is Kang Xi.” He introduced them and shook hands with the woman.

“Please...Have a seat.” Lisa invited them to sit in one of her couch and the three did sit together...“I prepared tea to calm the nerves...”

“Thank you...” The three said and bowed...

Before drinking, the tea cup caught Seong Ji's attention and kept staring at it (Why is it so familiar?)

“Hey, bro! You better drink it!” Kang Xi tapped Seong Ji's shoulder making Ji flinch.

“Uh yeah...” Seong Ji said and finally drunk his tea.

“Butterfly pea flower tea...” Kana muttered after drinking her cup of tea.

“Your right, It's blue tea.....Anyways, Let me introduce myself again...My name is Lisa Vos and I've been practicing past life regression for about seven hundred years.”

The three was a bit surprised, Seong Ji's eyes widened while Kana almost choked.

“But you look like you're thirty!” Kang Xi pointed out.

“Hahahahaha thank you...But I'm already in my early forties.” She smiled “So? Why did you come here?” Suddenly she became a bit more serious...Lisa stared at Kana making her uneasy so she slightly poke Seong Ji with her elbow, Telling him to answer her.

*sigh* “You see...Ever since we were kids, we've been having weird dreams...and...well it's been getting worse as we grew up...” Seong Ji explained.

“You've been having dreams of your past life? That means you have quite a troubled soul and sub-conscious...” She told them and decided to start with the hypnotising...

And well here we are...

“Let me remind you, It was you who said that we should visit here!” Kana exclaimed and started to walk again.

“I did?! When?!” Seong Ji said while acting innocently.

While looking around, a certain painting caught Kang Xi's attention, “Hey, bro! Isn't this guy a bit familiar?” He pulled Seong Ji's shirt and made him look at the painting.

“Yeah...I think I've seen him somewhere...” Seong Ji said and continued to stare at it but just shrugged it away since he can't figure it out “Maybe your just overthinking.” He said and patted down Kang Xi's back.

“Guys look!” Kana shouted and pointed out what's supposed to be a scroll, Kang Xi and Seong Ji ran towards her to look at it.

“What does it say?!” Kang Xi said looking a bit confused since he doesn't understand what was written.

Why are you spur fast to die,

Me being left just to cry,

My heart-beats asking why,

Why you left me without saying goodbye.

Promises that you made,

Still stuck in my brain,

Crying in the darken shade,

Loneliness is flowing in vein.

Yes, It's winter,

My life became colder,

Winter is full of sadness thou,

Do I have to lose you too?

As the two red the poem, Kana felt something ached (Why does my heart hurts?) She taught and unconsciously held her chest.

“Well...That's deep...” Seong Ji said and leaned his arms on Kana's shoulder.

“I don't get it? Did he go through a break up?” Kang Xi scratched the back of his head and clearly showing a face of confusion.

“Idiot! It's a farewell poem! It clearly had the word die!” Seong Ji said and hit Kang Xi's head. Making the two fight.

“Never heard of metaphor?!” Kang Xi argued back.

(What's this?) Kana out of curiosity took the Jade off and suddenly she felt the ground shaking.

“AAAAHHHHH!!! AN EARTHQUAKE” The people in the imperial complex shouted and running while panicking...
