S1 Episode 1- Pilot

*scene starts with Margaret smoking on her front porch*

(Pov) Margret: I'm Margaret..a retired scientist..

*Mowes the lawn*

(Pov) Margaret: I'm not really a people person,nor do I like talking about some damn politics.

*Margaret, annoyed,starts hearding the sheep*

Margaret: come on get in there!

(Pov) Margaret: a few years ago..I worked for a science company...that experimented on people..

*Camera zooms in on Margret making breakfast*

(Pov) Margaret: and about a year ago..

*Zooms in to Margaret putting two plates of breakfast on the table*

Margaret: Elise! Breakfast!

*Camera then turns to a 17 year old Elise walking down the stairs*

(Pov) Margaret: I ended up adopting and looking after one of those so called test subjects..

*Elise sits down in front of her plate and starts eating*

* Margaret then sits down in front of Elise, eating her food*

Elise: Thanks for breakfast Mom..

Margaret: no problem.. just to let you know, I'm taking you to school today

Elise: ok..

*Elise Continues eating*

*The scene then cuts to both Margaret and Elise walking out of the house*

*They both get in the car,then Margaret starts the engine*

*The scene then cuts to the car driving*

Margaret: alright let's go over the rules again ...no powers..

Elise: if anyone asks me personal questions I'll change the subject..

Margaret: if anyone follows you home, zap them then come home

*Hands her a watch*

*Takes it*

Elise: what's this?..

Margaret: it's a Smart watch, let's me know where you are..

Elise: like a tracking device?

Margaret: yep.. keep it on at all times,no large groups,and if anyone asks you to go to a party,ask me before going...

*Drives around the corner*

Margaret: do you got your books?

Elise: yes

Margaret: folders?

Elise: yes

Margaret: binders? Lunch? Diododerent??

Elise: all three are a yes

*Stops in front of the school*

*Elise gets out of the car*

*Closes the door*

Margaret: beware of bullies..and no powers ok?

Elise: I got it mom..*kisses Margaret on the cheek* love you..

Margaret: love you too, have a great first day..

*Elise walks away to go into the school*

*Margaret sighs nervously,then drives off*

*Scene cuts to Elise opening her new locker*

*A person then taps her on the shoulder*

?: Hey

*Elise turns around to see a girl with knottless braids in her hair *

Elise:uh..hey..

Mekena: I'm Mekena, what's your name?

Elise: Elise..

Mekena: nice to meet you

*Mekena holds out her hand to shake Elise's*

*Elise, feeling hesitant, shakes Mekena's hand*

Mekena: what grade level are you in?

Elise: grade 12... I've been homeschooled..

Mekena: oh wow..wish I was homeschooled,to be honest I hate being here...

Elise: really?..why..?

Mekena: yep..I hate it here because-

*Suddenly the sound of a student getting shoved up against a bunch of lockers is heard*

Mekena: because of him*rolls eyes* that damn jerk..

Elise:who..?

Mekena: Johnny Michael...or as we all call him "Rocka"

Elise: Rocka?... bullies exist here..?

Mekena: girl have you not seen highschool dramas?? Hell yeah they exist here!

*Elise eyes widen when she sees someone familiar is the one getting bullied*

Elise: oh hell...I know him!

Mekena: who..?

*Elise points to the guy getting bullied*

Elise: I have to stop this..

Mekena: Elise no!

*Elise with fire in her eyes,walks up to Rocka, and pushed him to the ground*

Elise: leave him alone!

Rocka: who the hell are you?!

Elise: Elise Wiggins!

*The student standing against the wall looks at her*

?: E Bear..?

Elise: hey Panther... Jack

Jack: what are you doing here?..I thought..

Elise: I know.. it's a long story, I'll explain later.. other than that..are you ok?

Jack: yea I'm fine..even though he slammed me into my locker, I'm not scared of him

Elise: why do you let him bully you?

Jack: because he's my brother..

*Elise Glances down at Rocka, who is still on the ground*

*The scene blacks out to both Rocka and Elise looking at each other*

*Rocka then stands up and walks up towards Elise*

Rocka: so your the girl that saved my  brother's life..?

Elise: yep..

*Jack steps in between them and glares at Rocka*

Jack: go away..or I'll tell mom you've been messing with me again..

*Rocka glances over at Elise and smiles*

Rocka: I'll see you around E Bear..

*Elise looks away, hiding the fact that she's blushing*

*Jack glares at Rocka as he sees him walk away*

Jack: Don't pay any attention to this ball of human rocks.. he's mean to everyone..

Elise: I get it.. can you show where my first period class is?

Jack: sure..let me see your schedule..

*Elise hands Jack her schedule*

*As Jack looks through it his eyes widen*

Jack: you have honors chemistry this period..*nervous*

*Elise, who's face is now shocked, snatches the paper back*

Elise: just show me where my class is..*scared*

Jack: ok..

*Scene cuts to Elise walking into the classroom*

*The teacher glances up at Elise with a smile*

?: You must be the new girl welcome, I'm Mrs.Lycon but everyone calls me Mrs.L

Elise: nice to meet you too,my name's Elise..

Mrs.L: that's a nice name, you'll be sitting with Rocka

*Elise turns her head to see Rocka sitting in the back of the Lab on his phone*

Mrs.L: maybe you'll get him to actually do work..

*Elise, feeling rather nervous,walks to the back of the Lab and proceeds to sit next to him*

*Rocka, who's looking at his phone,glances over at Elise*

Rocka: your in this class too?

Elise: yea..I can't say that I like it..*uncomfortable*

*Sensing the uncomfortable feeling from Elise,Rocka turns his phone over and pushes his assignment towards Elise*

Rocka: do you mind helping me with my assignment.. it's a little tricky..

Elise: sure..

*Scene cuts to Elise helping Rocka with his chemistry assignment, Rocka then looks at Elise, pulling her hair back from her face*

Rocka: your getting really good at this

Elise: yea ..I can't say it's my favorite..

Rocka: what made you not like it..?

Elise: I don't like science for... personal reasons..

*Feeling sad, Elise looks down, clenching her hands together*

Rocka: Do you wanna talk about it...?

Elise: I'm not really allowed to talk about it.. let's just continue with our assignment..

*Looking concerned and curious, Rocka respects Elise's decision and continues the assignment with her*

*Scene cuts to Elise having lunch with Jack and Mekena*

Jack: you were in the same class as my brother?? That's ridiculous..

Elise: yea..I helped him do his chemistry assignment

Mekena: wow..I guess he isn't as mean after all..

*Elise, unamused, continues to eat her lunch*

*Rocka comes over and sits next to Elise*

Rocka: hey.mind if I sit with you?

Elise: sure I don't mind,go ahead..

*Rocka proceeds to sit next to Elise and Start eating his lunch*

*After awhile,Jack and Mekena start warming up to Rocka and they all started chatting with each other*

*Scene cuts to the four of them walking out of the school together*

*Soon, Elise senses something unpleasant near by*

*Suddenly,Rocka turns is head towards Elise*

Rocka: you good E Bear?..

*Elise can suddenly feel a familiar group of individuals*

Elise: we need to go..!

*Rocka,Jack, and Mekena look at each other with worried but reluctantly agreed*

Jack: we can head to the convenience store,me and Mekena always go there..

Rocka: let's hurry up and get In the car

*All four of them hopped in Rocka's truck and drove off*

*The scene cuts to them driving on a path towards the convenience store,Rocka, who's in front of the stirring wheel, glances nervously over at Elise*

Rocka:... gonna explain to me what's going on?

Elise: it's too complicated to explain right now

*Meanwhile both Mekena and Jack are looking behind them seeing a giant black gunned vehicle*

*Jack's eyes widened and he pops his head in the front of the car*

Jack : Drive faster Damnit!! They have guns attached to there car!!

Rocka: bruh you know I can't break the law

*Mekena grabs the side of Rocka's jacket sleeve aggressively*

Mekena: Just shut up and Drive!!

* With the command, Rocka drives at full speed*

* The car drove up behind them even more*

*Elise looks in her rear mirror and glares in anger*

Elise: stop the car..

Rocka: I'm sorry..?

Elise: STOP THE CAR!!

*Rocka quickly pulls over on the side of the road*

*Elise opens the door and gets out*

Rocka: what are you doing? Get back in the car!

Elise: I'm done running! I'll slow them down,you guys stay in the car

*Ignoring their rant, Elise walks towards the gunned vehicle*

*One of the masked men walks out of the truck weapon in hand*

Soldier 1: finally got you...why don't you come with us..

*The masked man looked over at his partner, signalling him to attack first*

*Elise, using her powers, raises the other masked man up into the air,the man in the mask starts choking*

Elise:...we still have unfinished business..I doubt that weapon can hurt me.. didn't you hear? Not a single bullet the can kill me..

*Elise cracks the mask man's neck, killing him*

*The masked man drops to the ground as Elise let's go*

*Emotionless, Elise looks at the masked soldier standing in front of her, suddenly, she starts floating*

*Angry, Elise splits the gunned vehicle in two*

Elise: tell your boss.. I'm coming for them..IN FOLDS!!

*Even Angrier,she sets the area on fire*

*Scared, the masked soldier teleports him and the rest of his men away*

*Elise floats back down,her eyes go back to normal*

*Soon, Elise turns around and sees Rocka running towards her and begins to hug her*

Rocka: Don't ever frickin scare me like that again,you could've been dead!

Elise: I'm fine Rocka..

*Soon both Jack and Mekena join them*

Jack: explain to me.. what the French hell was that?! I thought you couldn't control your powers?

*Rocka turns around and looks at Jack*

Rocka: you knew?!..

Jack: yea.. didn't you know too? We all came from the same facility..

*Mekena, with her back pack in her hand, rummages to find her tablet*

Mekena: where's the body?!

*Elise points over to the dead masked men on the side of the road, Mekena begins to take a couple pictures*

Mekena: I've found a symbol!

* The rest of them gather around as they see a dark angel symbol on the masked man's jacket*

Elise:..I know that symbol.. it's the same as my birth father's tattoo..

Mekena: what do your parents want from you...

Elise: I don't know but what ever it is..it doesn't look good..

*Scene ends to the camera zooming into the dead masked man*

Next time on Among the edge

Elise and her friends go back to her house to explain to Margret about the situation... Margaret suggest that Jack,his brother, and Mekena stay with them, because they also have powers as well.. what will happen next time on Among the edge?
