As soon as Julius finished speaking, all the people present quieted down in an instant.

He was seething with rage.

The atmosphere was thick with tension; no one dared to utter a word.

Madeline stole a glance at him, her heart pounding in her chest.💗💗

She didn't expect him to announce to everyone that she was his girlfriend.

No one had protected her like this for years.

However, Julius had, in fact, ruined her plans. She had planned to ask about the internal affairs of the Powell family. Talking to the middle-aged man had been the best way.

Shocked, Jorge froze on the spot. On the other hand, Julius left the place with Madeline, his arm around her.

As they walked out of the party, Julius loosened his grip and walked ahead of her. Madeline took off her mask and curiously stared at his back.

A second ago, he spoke like he loved her. Now, he was storming off, leaving her behind. Madeline couldn't understand what was going on. His fickleness baffled her.

Julius:– "Wʜᴀᴛ ᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɪᴛɪɴɢ ғᴏʀ? Dᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴀʀʀʏ ʏᴏᴜ ɪɴᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴀʀ?"❄️💢❄️💢❄️

He shouted after getting into the car.

Hearing that, Madeline returned to her senses. She gently lifted the hemline of her dress, got into the car, and rest beside him.

The car started and sped off.

Madeline had come to the party solely to get some information. She grew frustrated because all her efforts had ended in vain.

Madeline:– "The man who apologized to you must be the head of the Powell family. Am I right?"

She asked, pretending to sound casual.

Hearing that, Julius slowly turned to look at her.

The intensity of his gaze startled her.

Madeline:– "He was flattering you. I heard he is in charge of the Powell family now, so I thought if you cooperate with him... Ouch!😣 What are you doing?"

Before she finished her words, Julius leaned over and pinned her to the seat.

Startled by the sudden move, she frowned and tried pushing him away. However, he quickly grabbed her wrist with one hand and pinched her chin with the other.

It hurt a little, but she could bear it.

Madeline:– "What's wrong with you?"💢💢

She growled, slapping his chest.

Madeline:– "Are you nuts?"💢💢💢

Julius stared into her eyes for a moment. Then, without warning, he bent over and kissed her.

The tip of his tongue traced her lips. Madeline's eyes widened in horror. She bent her arm and tried pushing him away but couldn't free herself from his hold. The car was silent except for their heavy breathing and the sloppy sounds of kisses. The driver didn't dare to look back.

A couple of minutes later, Julius finally pulled back.

Madeline:– "What's wrong with you?"💢💢💢

Madeline pushed him away and angrily wiped her lips with the back of her hand.

Julius:– "I don't want to hear you mentioning other men ever again."❄️❄️❄️❄️

Julius looked into her eyes and turned away. The kiss had turned him on. He wanted to desperately make love to her now.

Madeline froze, she couldn't understand what he meant.

Was he angry? Or jealous? Was it because she asked about another man's information?

However, that didn't seem right. Madeline thought it must be because he was a possessive man.

She had been on high alert ever since he kissed her. She sat at the far end of the seat to keep a safe distance from him.

She didn't want to reveal her presence in any way so that Julius wouldn't pay attention to her.

Madeline was so nervous that she forgot to ask him where they were going.

Just then, the car stopped at the gate of a villa.

Madeline:– "Well, can you ask your driver to drop me home?"(◉⁠‿⁠◉) Madeline asked softly.

Julius turned around and looked at her indifferently,

Julius:– "Stay here tonight."❄️❄️❄️

She opened her mouth to refuse, but Julius turned around and left.

Madeline:– "Wait! I want to go home!"😦

Madeline lifted the hemline of her dress and ran after him.

She was wearing high heels and couldn't catch up with him.

Finally, she entered the villa. But he had already disappeared.

Madeline:– "What's wrong with him? Why is he running away?"(⁠٥⁠↼⁠_⁠↼⁠)

Panting, she looked around and rolled her eyes. Then, she took off her high heels and collapsed on the sofa.

Benson:– "It's you again? The strange woman."❄️❄️ •Folding arms•

Just as she cursed Julius in her heart, a little boy appeared in front of her.

Madeline:– "Baby!"(⁠☆⁠▽⁠☆⁠)

Startled, Madeline sat up and held him in her arms.

Madeline:– "How was your day? Did you eat on time? Why do I feel that you've lost weight?"😟😟

Madeline cupped his cheeks and kissed him all over his face.
