Eᴘ - 14. Dᴏɴ'ᴛ Yᴏᴜ Dᴀʀᴇ Tᴏᴜᴄʜ Hᴇʀ

Both Madeline and Julius were good-looking people. They made a gorgeous couple. As soon as they entered the hall, all eyes turned in their direction.

Madeline was wearing a gilded mask. She arrived at the party, holding Julius's arm. They were the most eye- catching couple tonight.

The head of the Powell family walked to them with a glass of wine.

Unknown:– "Mr. Glynn? Long time no see. Thank you for coming to the party."😄

He was wearing a silver mask, which covered most of his face so no one could see his expression. But Madeline recognized his voice immediately.

He was none other than Jorge Powell! He was Madeline's uncle her father's little brother. On the day her father passed away, Jorge arrived with several contracts and documents.

He forced Madeline and her mother to sign papers.

Julius:– "Hi." 😐❄️❄️❄️

Julius had no impression of Jorge, so he nodded and turned to leave. However, just then, he felt Madeline's grip on his arm tighten.

He looked at Madeline in confusion.

There was a hint of indignation and hatred in her eyes. But she quickly suppressed her emotions and regained her composure.

Madeline pursed her lips and stepped forward, forcing a smile.

Madeline:– "You must be the head of the Powell family. Julius has mentioned you before."😊

Jorge:– "Oh? Really?" 🧐

Jorge raised his brows and looked at Julius in surprise.

A frown lined Julius's forehead, but he didn't utter a word. He observed Madeline's reaction and was curious to find out what she was up to.

People unaware of his intentions might mistake him for being infatuated with Madeline.

Jorge:– "I'm so lucky!" 😌

Jorge nodded, smiling. He asked the waiter to bring glasses of champagne for them. After chatting with them for a while, he turned around and left on the pretext of receiving other guests.

As soon as he left, Julius turned to look at Madeline.

Julius:– "What are you planning to do?"❄️❄️

Madeline:– "What can I do?" 🥺

She looked at him and smiled innocently.

Madeline:– "After all, you are my boss now."😼

Hearing that, Julius pursed his lips and remained silent. The place became lively as soon as the party started.

After a short while, all kinds of big shots gathered around Julius to talk with him. Madeline quickly slipped away to meet someone from the Powell family to find out who was in charge of the company now.

Madeline looked around for a long while but couldn't find any member of the Powell family. Everyone was wearing a mask.

Madeline elegantly lifted her dress and turned around. Just then, the feit a hand on her shoulder.

Host:– "Hi! Are you here alone? I'm the host of the party tonight, if you are bored, I can take you around.." 😏

When Madeline heard that, she stiffened for a moment However, she quickly gathered herself and turned around with a smile.

Coincidentally, a Powell family member had come to accost her. Madeline didn't have to bother looking for any of them.

Madeline:– "Okay! I have never attended such an extravagant party before. This place is huge. My feat have become sore from all the walking. Can you take me somewhere I can sit down and rest?"🙂

Looking at the fat middle-aged man in front of her. Madeline controlled her disgust and spoke to him in a seductive voice.

Host:– "Ha-ha! Let's go! I know a quiet place where no one will disturb you!"💩

The middle-aged man was enchanted by Madeline. He ogled at her with lustful eyes, eager to pounce on her.

Madeline gritted her teeth, pretending to admire him.

Madeline:– "That's great!"☺️

she said through gritted teeth.

Host:– "Gosh, look at how affluent the Powell family is. They must have spent a lot on the lavish decorations. Are you a member of the Powell family? Would you be able to offer me help in the future?"🤑

A triumphant grin emerged in the man's face as if he had finally got what he wanted. He reached out and held Madeline's hand.

Madeline:– "Sure, no problem. You can have whatever you want. But nothing is free. Everything in this world comes with a price. All you've got to do is..."

The man smiled and grabbed Madeline's waist.

Madeline frowned and turned her head in disgust, trying to put up with his lewd behavior. She decided to endure it for a while and kick the man away after getting the information she wanted. After all, he wouldn't know her because she was wearing a mask.

However, in less than two seconds, the middle-aged man screamed in pain.

Confused, Madeline turned around and saw Julius standing aside, his face red with rage. He calmly pulled away the man's hand.

The middle-aged man's face had turned deathly pale and sweat beaded his forehead. He felt a searing pain as Julius broke his fingers.

Julius:– "Don't You Dare Touch Her."❄️💢❄️💢❄️

Julius growled and threw him to the floor.

The man curled up and cried in pain.

The loud noise garnered everyone's attention.

Jorge rushed over and glanced at the middle-aged man writhing in pain. Then, he turned to look at Julius and Madeline standing in front of him.

He turned around and inquired one of the men about what was going on. The next moment, his face turned taut with rage and he kicked the man.

Jorge:– "Bastard! She has come to accompany Mr. Glynn tonight. How dare you touch her?"💢💢💢

Hearing what he said, Julius looked up and glanced at him indifferently. Then, he wrapped his arm around Madeline's waist and warned,

Julius:– "This is my girlfriend! If you even think of touching her again, I will rip your fucking head off!"❄️❄️❄️
