Madeline:– "Why did you take such photos of us behind my back?"

Madeline's face turned red in both anger and shame.

She was the one who had planned to take his photos and post them online, but she didn't expect a man like Julius to resort to dirty tactics and threaten her like this!

Lowering his head, Julius looked into her eyes and said,

Julius:– "I apologize. It's an old habit of mine. Besides, if you hadn't turned your back on me in the first place, I wouldn't have made use of these photos."❄️❄️

Hearing his explanation, Madeline became utterly speechless. Feelings of annoyance and disbelief swirled in her chest.

Madeline:– «This man even had the gall to blame her for it? What a bastard!!»

Madeline:– •Raging up🌡️🌡️•

Julius:– "Well, I'm not here to have an open discussion with you. I'm just here to inform you of the possible consequences of your future actions."❄️❄️

After speaking, Julius turned around and glanced at the photos with a straight face. Then he picked up one of them and waved it in front of her for emphasis.

Julius:– "Take a good look. I'll give you three days to come up with a decision. If you miss the deadline and hide from me, then your beautiful face and curvy body will be all over the internet for everyone to enjoy."❄️❄️

Gritting her teeth in anger, Madeline glared at Julius fiercely.

Neatly picking up the photos one by one, Julius inserted them back inside the envelope and slid it into his pocket.

Julius:– "For safe-keeping and insurance purposes, I'll take these pictures with me first."❄️❄️

Madeline:– "Ouch!"

Grimacing in pain, he pushed Madeline away by gripping her collar with his fingertips.

Julius:– "What's wrong with you?"❄️❄️❗

In the beginning, she played hard to get and shot down his advances, but now she threw herself into his arms. This woman was driving him crazy.

Madeline:– "Oh dear! I think I hurt my foot!"🙄🙄

Rolling her eyes to herself, Madeline cried out as she wrapped her hands around Julius' neck, desperately vying for his attention.

With Madeline hanging onto his neck, Julius couldn't help but slightly bend over. His face darkened in an instant. Trying to break free from her clutches, he gritted his teeth and said,

Julius:– "Let go of me."❄️❄️

Madeline:– "I can't! My foot is injured. If I let go, I'll lose my balance and fall hard on the floor."

Seeing that Benny was still lying on the ground beside Julius' feet, Madeline wasn't releasing her grip on the annoyed man anytime soon.

Using her quick thinking, she mouthed some words to Benny, silently signaling her son to crawl back underneath the bed. At the same time, she exerted more effort to pull Julius down to the ground with her.

At first, Benny only stared back at his mother in confusion. But later on, the little boy blinked and nodded obediently.

Before he turned around and crawled away to hide under the bed, his little hand snuck inside Julius' pocket. In a blink of an eye, Benny disappeared from view.

Madeline:– "What the heck are you trying to accomplish here?"

Lying on top of Madeline, Julius propped himself up on his elbows. The pair had fallen to the ground and soon found themselves in a compromising position.

Now that her son was out of sight, Madeline quickly loosened her grip and tried to push him away.

Julius slowly stood up and straightened his clothes. With a concerned look on his face, he approached her and asked,

Julius:– "Does your foot still hurt? Let me check on it."❄️❄️😟😟

Hearing the sincerity in his voice, Madeline was stunned. She knew that her acting skills were poor, but she still had Julius fooled. Grinning in satisfaction, she exclaimed,

Madeline:– "It was all a lie!"🙂🙂

Taking a step forward, Julius raised her chin and asked,

Julius:– "You like to mess with other people so much, huh?"🙃🙃❄️❄️

Madeline immediately stepped back and brushed his hand aside. She feared that Benny would come out again, so she needed to do something quickly.

Madeline:– "I've had enough. Please stop wasting my time! Didn't you just tell me that you would give me three days to think things over? In that case, you are free to leave, and I don't want to see you until then!"

Withdrawing his hand, Julius looked at her carefully and turned around.

Julius:– "I hope you won't make a decision that you'll regret."❄️❄️💢

Madeline gritted her teeth in frustration, hoping that he would leave right now.

As soon as Julius walked back into the foyer, Madeline seized the opportunity to push him out of the apartment. With a triumphant smile, she slammed the door and locked it!

Julius stumbled forward and looked back at the closed door behind him in disbelief.

This woman was remarkable indeed. She was extremely bold and fearless.

Meanwhile, the night was still far from over for the two people inside the apartment.

Rushing back to the bedroom, Madeline squatted down at the end of the bed and shouted,

Madeline:– "Benny! Where are you? Baby? You can come out now!"

Benny:– "Mommy, I'm here!"

The little boy was hiding behind the leg of the bed. When he heard Madeline's voice, he grinned and crawled over, wriggling his chubby limbs.

With an affectionate smile, Madeline carried him in her arms and tenderly wiped the dust away from his body.

Madeline:– "Silly boy, why were you hiding under the bed?"

After shrugging his shoulders, Benny suddenly tugged at Madeline's sleeve and looked up anxiously.

Benny:– "Mommy! Did that bad man bully you just now? When I heard you shouting, I hid myself because I was scared. But I also wanted to beat him up for you!"

Benny wore a fierce expression and waved his little fist in the air.

Madeline chuckled and shook her head at her son's words. She knew that Benny had misunderstood the situation, so she held his little hand and corrected him.

Madeline:– “No, we just talked about important things. We didn't even quarrel”.

Benny:– "Really, Mommy?"

Benny blinked and thought it over. His innocent eyes were so adorable!

Although Julius was rough around the edges, there was no denying that he had good genes. Since he was Benny's biological father, Madeline decided to forgive him in the meantime.

Cherishing this peaceful moment between them, she lowered her head and kissed her son on the cheek.

Madeline:– "Of course, my baby. You know I will never lie to you. But if such a thing happens again, don't crawl out in the open and reveal yourself. Just stay under the bed, okay?"

Madeline couldn't help but shake her head at her own idea. But it was for the best. Although the crawlspace underneath the bed was quite dirty, it was a good hiding place for his safety.

Madeline:– "Look at you. You have dust all over your clothes. Why don't we go and have a bubble bath? But first, let's soap your hands."

Carrying Benny in her arms, Madeline walked toward the bathroom and turned on the faucet. She made a mental note to clean the floor underneath the bed soon so that her son wouldn't be so filthy the next time he hid there.

At the thought of this, Madeline smacked her forehead. What was she thinking about? She wouldn't let such a thing happen again!
