Luna's background

Another thing that Luna didn't know about her mother was her parents. Her maternal grandmother happened to be the most powerful person in the world in terms of money and connections. She was independent just from the day her husband went missing and was never found so she had to bring her daughter up by herself but Arielle Evans who is Luna's mother was very stupid that's why she ended up getting cheated on by her husband who was a Playboy scumbag and liked fooling around with women and left them. Luna had suffered pretty much for the first 20 years of her life but she didn't know that fate wanted something else with her. Her destiny was about to change. She was about to meet a guy who was rich and able to take care of her.

On 15th September 1999

Stepmother: Hey! You dirtbag!!! Wake up!!!! You have to serve my friends at my party!!!!!

(Luna's stepmother, Elena was only spending money on lavish clothes and was busy buying designer bags and dresses)

Luna: *in a weak voice* yes mom? can you not make me se- serve your friends?..... You have a lot of maids.....

Stepmother: Shut up you little br@t!!!! I don't feed you two times a day to just sit at home and do nothing!!!!!

Luna: But I am sick....I just can't d-

Stepmother: *slapped her hard*

Luna: S-sorry...I-I will do what you say.......

Stepmother: Good.....now listen you little sh!t!!!! Don't start a drama in front of them ok!?

Luna: *sobbing* o-ok

*Elena leaves the room*

Luna in mind: I should run away....but I don't know where to go......I will die if I don't run away now...... It's better that way....

Then Luna runs away from a secret door from her room which is the basement. She packed some food with her and ran away. It started raining like cats and dogs but she was still running and running until she collapsed in the middle of the road. A man saw her and recognised her as Arielle's daughter and dropped her off at Arielle's mother, Rosa's mansion. Rosa told him that Arielle ran away many years ago to marry a rich guy and didn't keep in touch with her so she didn't even know that she had a granddaughter. Her butler told her to get a dna test done and she agreed. Turns out, she was 100% her granddaughter. She was immensely happy to see her only relative alive. Luna was still unconscious and Rosa, being a kind hearted woman, made her nutritious soup and other delicacies to eat. Suddenly after 3 days, Luna woke up and was startled to see herself in an unknown place she had never seen. Rosa rushed to her and saw that she woke up. She cried really hard while hugging her only granddaughter.

Luna: wher-where am I-I? And who are you?

Rosa: Don't be afraid..... I am your grandmother dear....where is Arielle? give me her number I haven't seen her in ages......

Luna: are you really my grandma? *teary eyes* (but she looks just a few years older than me)

Rosa: yes love....but your moth-

Luna: sh-she passed away long ago.......

Rosa: what!? I thought I would find her after all these years....

Luna: c-can I get some food? It's fine if y-you won't-

Rosa: Silvia! Come serve her the food that was prepared for her!!!

Luna: *lost in thoughts*

Rosa: what is your name dear?

Luna: Luna.....

Rosa: beautiful name!!!! So your mother named you after my mother.....

Luna: your mother?

Rosa: yes......

Luna: *again lost in thoughts*

Rosa: I know you have a lot of questions.....you can ask me.... Since you are my blood, I will tell you everything truthfully.....

Luna: Why do you look so young?

Rosa: ......I will tell you...... Although I may look fully normal, I am half human half vampire because my mother is a vampire and my father was just a human. Though I will not live for more than 1000 years, I will look just like this until my death bed....A normal vampire is immortal though there are ways to end their life.....

Luna: so I am also half vampire!?

Rosa: no....you are only a few percent vampire which means that you are almost human but if you marry a vampire and drink some of his blood, you will become completely vampire. Do you want to become a vampire?.......

Luna: no!!!! I was just curious.....

Rosa fed her well and asked her if her father's business failed as she was wearing shabby clothes and was very thin. Luna told her that her father wasn't a good person and let his mistress and her daughter torture her for 20 years. Although they homeschooled her, she still wasn't allowed to go out of the house and live freely. She told her everything about how was malnutritioned by her stepmother who didn't even leave her a penny and after all this, she decided to run away from that filthy place.... just to save her own life.
