Hiding

I started to laugh a lot while holding my stomach. “Ha you are a prince I don’t believe you all I know is the royal family from London” I say giggling and calming down. He looked like he was very serious about this and I stopped laughing. This guy came out of the blue and now is saying he is a prince of a place named Wolfenvill. Jeez this guy made me laugh. I think it’s just a role play or something. “Miss I don’t understand why you are laughing at me.” He says in a serious tone. Oh this dude was for real he isn’t even moving or laughing like what..so maybe he was being serious about this.. “well Evan..” I say. “Prince Evan, only my mother and father are the only ones that can call me Evan” he says and leans on a light pole. I can’t get a break from this. Then we hear something in the distance..Evan then pulls my hand and pulls me to the woods where he was when I first saw him. “Hey! Let me go!” I yell. He then pulls behind a tree and covers my mouth making sure I couldn’t talk. Then we started to hear some people talking. “I think he went this way!” They say I started to tremble from what was happening. Evan felt me trembling and he put his hand on the back of my head and pulled my head on his chest making sure I was buried on his chest. Jeez. This is just different. I feel like I’m in a book right now. All of this doesn’t feel real. Soon enough the people leave and Evan moves away from me and makes sure I was fine. “Are you okay ma’am?” He says reaching out to brush a leaf out of my hair. His touch was gentle yet rough. “Y-yeah I’m okay call me Lucy” I say trying to keep from screaming from how close I was to this guy. Evan takes my shoulders and helps me out from behind the tree. I don’t even know this guy but now I feel safe around him. I’m not sure if this is supposed to happen. I still wanna slap him and run but I don’t think I want to now. “Lucy..okay I will remember..you should make your way home I can walk you.” Evan says, wrapping an arm around my waist guiding me to the opening of the woods and road. “No I can make it home” I say hoping that would make him back off. Which did work a bit. “Are you sure Lucy?” He says. I don’t know why he keeps asking that…
