  In Akira's eyes,the war seemed to be unstoppable and can't be resolved without resorting in violence.

  “Can you let me go on a stroll in the city first? I want to get more information about the situation personally”

  The knights all stood there silently for a moment,they were a bit surprised at his request but they did not seem to have any objection. Their commander spoke up and looked at him.

  "Of course we can,though we are only allowing you to take a small stroll around the city. Do not take too long though,we have only a few days before the invasion begins so you need to get as much training as possible to prepare for the war.”

"Thank you"

Akira then left the room and walked to the exit of the castle

  The knight let him leave and once he was alone,Akira was finally able to take a look at the city of Yrta for himself. It was surprisingly beautiful, the city walls and buildings were clearly well maintained and everyone seemed to carry themselves well despite the looming war.

  The city was filled with citizens walking around and doing their daily chores,most of them seemed oblivious to the looming war but some of them kept looking at Akira with curiosity as he passed by.

"Why am I the one chosen for this? Why is it up to me to save the day? I don't even understand their language, how can I accomplish this mission?"

Akira pondered his sudden appointment, wondering why he was the one chosen versus any other individual. A strange, otherworldly display flashed in his vision, prompting him to come to a stop.

  Akira stared at the strange display in his vision with a mix of shock and confusion,the display seemed to be telling him that he had just acquired some sort of special ability known as "The Hero".

  Was this ability supposed to help him in his mission to save the world? Was this ability the key to becoming a hero?

  The young man slowly sat down on a bench as he thought about all the possibilities and the responsibility that had just fallen on his shoulders. He was only a kid knowing absolutely nothing about this world but was chosen to be a hero.

  The screen popped up once again in bold letters explaining the unique skill 'The hero'

  The young man seemed even more stunned and overwhelmed, he did not realise that the skill that he had just acquired also provided him with such significant power. The young man slowly stood up and was about to return to the castle to inform them of this when his attention was suddenly caught by another display.

  The display read,

  The young man remained silent for a moment before finally deciding to accept this quest and become a hero…

  With no more hesitation, the young man clicked on the ''Accept the quest'' option on the display. The display disappeared along with the notifications on his vision.

  The young man closed his eyes for a few seconds as he took in the sudden change that just occurred in his life. He then slowly opened his eyes and was shocked when everything seemed to change around him.

  The people who were previously all around him were now gone, replaced by a vast landscape of grass plains. He was now alone in a different world,

  There was no sense of time in the realm as it only remained light coming from everywhere,the only darkness it had was an ominous presence of something.

  Even though the darkness was the only thing that made this place ominous,it felt like it was coming for him and that he was meant to explore and go further into it. The young man had no idea what he could find here,but he knew that he needed to go deeper to find the answers. At some point he started to hear whispers coming from this darkness,but he couldn't make out what they were saying. The whispers felt like an invisible guide that was calling him to follow it deeper into this realm.

  An unending expansion of the realm has began to do the stretching of space making Akira's movement more pointless as he furthers his exploration to the realm

  Akira decided to continue following the whispers as he was eager to explore and find more of this strange realm. The voices kept getting louder the further he went,but they still remained unintelligible as it almost felt like he was going inside of someone's mind. The whispers were telling him to go deeper, to keep exploring, to reach an unknown destination.

  It was impossible to tell how much time has passed since he first entered this realm as time felt like it was standing still. In this void place with only whispers to guide his way,he kept walking.

  Suddenly the whispers stopped and there was absolute silence around him. This was the first time Akira felt fear in this realm as he was no longer being guided or told where to go. This sense of unknown was terrifying but it was also awakening something in Akira, a sense of curiosity and a desire to find out more. The young man stood still for a moment,gathering himself and his courage before continuing moving forward into the darkness.

  As the young man went deeper into this realm his eyes began to adapt to its darkness and he could see his surroundings. Akira had been walking around aimlessly for an undefined period of time until his footsteps suddenly stopped,it appeared that he had come across something.

  The young man could see a small light source off in the distance,almost as if it was trying to call out to him. It appeared to be a small cottage with a faint light emerging from the window. This light source had to be a sign for him to explore further so the young man decided to approach it.

  Akira's fatigue got to before the light source, he was going unconscious and dying from tiredness. He then suddenly collapsed and passed out.

  The young man's vision then slowly faded as the darkness engulfed him. As he began to lose himself in the darkness of death, there was a faint echo of a voice in the distance. The voice kept calling out for someone,but it was too distant to be heard clearly.

  "Akira...Akira,come back to me..."

  "Wake up...wake up..."

  "You've got to wake up...Akira"

The voices became more insistent and kept getting louder until the young man began to hear it clearly.

  Akira slowly opened his eyes and found himself back in the beginning of the unknown realm where he first arrived. He took in a deep breath as he realized he was back to where it all began. He stood up and began walking again,this time with a new sense of purpose and direction as he was now driven by his newfound quest of becoming a hero.

  The sun was beginning to rise up from behind him and the warm light from the rising sun was now flooding the realm,making it brighter and more vibrant than before.

  He then finally realizes the point of getting sent in that unknown realm,

  "This realm.... It's an unending Samsara cycle.... A loop”

  The young man was beginning to understand more and more about this realm,but he still did not understand why he was sent here in the first place. The whispers from the beginning were guiding him and trying to teach him something.

  "I don't understand...what is it that I was meant to discover here?" He wondered to himself while walking. What was he meant to do as a hero in an unending Samsara cycle?

  Everything felt so vast and endless. The young man was beginning to lose hope,he was starting to believe there was no way out of this place. He eventually laid down on the ground,lost and frustrated by the situation.

  As he laid there on the ground lost and with no direction the whispers suddenly returned. The whispers were more persistent and urgent than before as they kept calling out for him. The young man raised his head towards the voices and got back on his feet to follow them.

  As he began to follow the whispers again one of them seemed to be different from the rest,the voice felt older and more powerful than the others. It also felt as if it was trying to get his attention.

  A sense of deja vu has come,Akira then looked and followed the voice further ahead into the realm as he wanted to know where it would take him.

  He was beginning to feel hope again as he found that the darkness ahead was slowly giving way to light,like a guiding path for him following him. As he moved further in the darkness he could see there was a faint light source up ahead.

  This light source was his destination,it was where the whispers were leading him to.

 A surge of bursting and resonating power inside his soul has made Akira tremble and collapse once again

  As he fell down he could hear the voices call out once more, but this time they were calling out for him to get back up.The voice was more adamant compared to before as if they were trying to tell him to keep going and not give up.

  Akira let out a loud yell as he fought against his exhaustion and managed to stand up again, he felt a surge of energy passing through him as he did so. His vision was beginning to return to him once more as he could see a faint light source at the end of the darkness.

  "AHHHH!! FUCK THIS"

  He then finally swung his arm like he was swinging a sword which then caused a cut in the realm to be created .

  "HYAHHH!!"

  He repeated this multiple times until the fabric of the realm was completely destroyed,it then showed a vast land of grass but now it has no endless expansion and he can feel the time has moving in a normal pace once again

  The destruction of the endless land has filled the young man with a huge burst of energy,but it also brought out a new feeling of anger and frustration within him. He was frustrated with all the unknown around him, frustrated that he was not given an explanation for anything that had happened to him so far.

  The young man was tired of hearing the whispers trying to influence him and guide him in a certain direction,he was tired of being manipulated and used like a pawn. He didn't want to be a hero. He just wanted to go home.

  He finds himself standing before a source of light, the light then speaks.

  "Congratulations,Akira you have made it,you completed the trial”
