Rivera

Arriving at the chief's house. The guests Ottar and Aisha are greeted outside by the chief and this family who was already standing outside the house before they exited the carriage.

Father is the first to welcome them.

" Sir Ottar and lady Aisha, welcome to our humble home." Father with a warm and greeting smile.

" So happy to have us chief Wayne," replied Ottar.

They both shake hand, and Aisha who father greeted himself to as well. Father then turn to his wife Lulu and son Luka. They both then introduce themselves to the two guests.

Looking behind them to see the other members of the black moon pack. Father have meant them before and known each other from the previous great hunt. They all joke at each other and laugh around for a bit for having someone as young as Ottar as their new alpha.

One of them brings up the case of chief Wayne decease son. Which was a bit of an emotional topic for the family.

Before Lora and Luka, the family had another son. He was the alpha of the sliver lotus pack at the time. After he died 20 years ago, father took back the position. Father past son, Alec was also the same age as Ottar when he was an alpha.

Aisha, who is Ottar's childhood friend, she is also a member for the black moon pack, joining the pack the same time Ottar was selected as the new alpha.

Aisha is the new " scholar " for the black moon pack. A " pack scholar " is a member of a wolf pack who isn't specialize in combat but more so knowledge and information.

Every wolf has a "class job" that they specializes in. There are 3 in total.

Warrior class : Wolves that focus on combat/attack

Hunter class : Wolves that focus on tracking/scout

Scholar class : Wolves that focus on knowledge

Aisha is a scholar and her main job is to provide information about certain creatures and other things inside the forbidden zone to prevent danger that can harm or even lead to the death of the whole pack.

Finally entering the house, Aisha curious about the topic she and Ottar were talking about on the carriage.

" Sir Wayne, not to sound rude or anything but I heard that you have adopted a human who is living here, am I right?"

Aisha has a cheeky look on her face. Luka looking at Aisha curiosity ponders on what she is going to say about his sister.

Father after a brief pause finally replied.

" Oh yes, you must be talking about my daughter. She is staying over at a friend's house right now."

With a condoscending look, Aisha said.

" Never actually thought that a human could have friends among the wolves in the village."

Luka already know where she is taking the conversation so he quickly steps up to defend his sister.

" Lora isn't like the other humans that everyone talks about from the war. My sister is a kind and compassinate person!"

" Woah easy there," Ottar placing his hand on the boy's head.

" She didn't mean it like that, we are not trying to say bad things about you sister, right Aisha," looking over at his childhood friend.

The atmosphere got a bit tense and seem like it is getting a bit out of hand. Luckily mama Lulu is there to break it up before things really gets out of hand.

Mother asking the two guests to follow her to see where they will be staying. After settling down in their guest room. Ottar excitingly wants to goes into town to explore.

It would be bad if something happen to the two if they are under father's watch. So father order Luka to accompany them into town.

Meanwhile in forest deep in the mountain, Lora is busy hunting her prey. She is running through the woods as a massive boar that is almost the same size of a normal height man is chasing after her.

But this is all a part of Lora's plans to take down the boar. First she leaded the boar to a specific location where she have already set up her trap. Up ahead is a vine that is hanging from a tree.

Lora jumps on the vine swinging around the tree. As the boar ran pass the tree, it didn't notice the rope Lora tie on each end of the tree that causes the boar's leg to get entangle and fell over.

Lora who is still in motion swinging around the tree at the same time the boar trip over and fell. Lora lands on the back of the massive boar with her spear in hand ready.

Remembering the training with father, he told her that the weakness of a boar is the back of its neck.

So Lora with all her strength drive her spear through the neck of the boar. Killing it in one strike.

Meanwhile, back in the village. Luka, Ottar and Aisha walks around the village square inside the marketplace. Which is the busiest part of the village.

As they were walking around they notice a large number of males gathering around a certain stall carrying verious animal meat, skin and bones.

In front of the gather crowd there is a stern and tough looking man dress like a butcher. The villagers nickname the man, Mr. Cutter. He is the best at dismantling animal for their meat, skin and bone

Sitting next to him is a beautiful pale white skin girl with flowing sliver hair with a bit of elegant to her presence and posture. Her name is Rivera and she Mr. Cutter daughter.

Rivera is dub the most beautiful girl in the village and many guys offers their hand in marriage to her. But her father is a very strict and stern person who doesn't want to hand his daughter over to just anyone.

So once a month Mr. Cutter order Rivera's pursers to hunt and bring back any valuable things from the forest. The one with the best hunt will date his daughter, Rivera.

Ever since Rivera turned 18 half a year ago, it has been like this since then. And now is no different, because right now many have gathered with different hunt to give to Rivera hoping to become the lucky one for her.

While all the guys are fighter over for Rivera attention. The girl herself is looking around the crowd. It was like she is looking for specific someone.

Just then a pompous looking guy came up with his hunt. His name is Billy, and he offer to Rivera the leather skin of a great crocodile he boasted about hunting himself.

Mr Cutter evaluate the skin and noted that the skin can be use to make jacket for the upcoming winter season. And there is enough material to make at least three set.

Everyone is at ah about Billy achievement, and they wonder if Billy is going to be the one to go on a date with Rivera. Perhaps Rivera will choose Billy as her mate.

Not only he is from a rich family, his family having one of the biggest trading business on the island, but Billy himself is not only handsome but also a skill warrior type.

Hearing the people from the crowd talk so highly of him, Billy is now brimming with confident as he walks toward Rivera with a smirking look.

" My dear Rivera, it will be an honor for you to become my mate," he held out his hand to her.

Before anything could happen, a girl's voice coming from the back is asking everyone to make way.

Luka recognizes the voice to belong to his sister. He called out to her while she is making her way through the gather crowd.

Ottar and Aisha for the first time have set eyes upon the human. And Ottar is bewildered by her beauty. With her flowing golden hair and memorizing blue eyes.

But what is more surprising is what she is pulling. Lora drags a cart with the massive boar that she just hunted earlier to presents it to Mr. Cutter and Rivera, who the latter is happy to see.

Everyone wonders how a human like her manage to kill a giant boar all by herself. Mr. Cutter evaluate the boar and with a smile announce that Lora is the winner. To everyone surprise.

Mr. Cutter explain that the boar Lora had hunted is at the middle stage of its life. Which is where the meat of the boar is the most juiciness.

And since it hasn't been too long since the boar is kill, the meat is still fresh which will make it more tender and sell at a higher price.

Not to mention that the skin of the boar can be use to make wonderful clothes and the tusks can he use for jewelry. Which his daughter Rivera loves.

Everyone is specticule about the decide to make the human girl the winner. But Billy is about to complain about the decision.
