After the event, upon Luca’s request Aurora decided to go home with him. As they sat in same car side by side, Aurora felt shy and so she immediately fell asleep on his shoulders. Luca’s thought she was sleeping but only Aurora knew she was pretending to sleep. "I love you, Aurora. You are my everything," Lucas whispered into her ears, his voice filled with emotion.

Upon hearing his words and with Lucas by her side, she felt invincible. By the time they reached home Aurora really fell asleep. When they finally arrived at their mansion, Lucas gently shook Aurora awake. "We're home, sleepyhead," he whispered, his voice soft and tender.

Aurora blinked blearily, trying to muster the energy to climb out of the car. Lucas chuckled and reached over to unbuckle her seatbelt, before scooping her up into his arms and carrying her bridal style towards the front door.

"Lucas, what are you doing?" Aurora protested weakly, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks at the unexpected display of chivalry.

"I'm carrying you to your room, my dear. You look like you could use some rest," Lucas replied with a grin, his eyes twinkling mischievously.

Aurora's heart melted at his thoughtfulness, and she nestled her head against his chest, breathing in the familiar scent of his cologne mingled with the fresh outdoors. She felt safe and loved in his arms, as if nothing in the world could touch them as long as they were together.

As Lucas softly pushed open the door to Aurora's bedroom, he could see how exhausted she truly was.
