It was Aurora's 18th birthday, a day that was supposed to be filled with excitement and joy. However, as she stood in the grand ballroom of her family's estate, she could feel the heavy weight of her father's announcement weighing down on her.
As the guests mingled and danced around her, Aurora's mind was filled with conflicting emotions. On one hand, she was grateful for her father's love and support throughout the years. But on the other hand, she couldn't help but feel a sense of dread at the thought of being married early.
As the evening wore on, Aurora found herself in a secluded corner of the ballroom, trying to compose herself. She couldn't bear the thought of marrying right now. She longed for the freedom to choose her own path, to pursue her own dreams and ambitions.
Just as she was about to slip out of the ballroom and escape to the solace of her room, Luca appeared before her. His handsome face bore a warm smile, but his eyes held a hint of uncertainty.
"Aurora," he said softly, "I know this may come as a surprise to you, but I want you to know that I have no intention of forcing you into this marriage. I understand if you have reservations, and I want you to know that I will respect your wishes, whatever they may be."
Aurora was taken aback by Luca's words. She had expected him to be indifferent or even dismissive of her feelings, but his sincerity touched her heart. Could it be that he felt as trapped and conflicted as she did?
"Luca," she began, her voice trembling with emotion, "I appreciate your honesty and your willingness to consider my feelings. I must confess that I too have reservations about this marriage, but I want to respect my fathers decision”.
Luca's face lit up with relief and gratitude. He took Aurora's hand in his, his touch gentle and reassuring.
"Thank you, Aurora," he whispered. "I promise to do everything in my power to make this marriage work, but I will never force you into anything you are not comfortable with. Let us take this journey together, with an open heart and a willingness to listen and learn from each other."
Aurora knew that her path would not be easy, but she was determined to face the challenges ahead with courage and resilience.
When the day of their wedding arrived, Aurora walked down the aisle with her heart full of fear and confusion. Luca stood at the altar, his eyes shining with joy and pride, as he took her hand in his and vowed to cherish and protect her for all eternity.
As they exchanged rings and sealed their vows, Wilson knew that he had found a true partner and friend for Aurora.
Lucas had always been a loving and caring partner, but Aurora couldn't shake the feeling of discomfort. Luca’s changed the decor to Aurora’s taste but she still longed for her own things, her own space.
As Aurora needed some time to digest her marriage, she decided to temporarily live at a college hostel. The familiar sights and sounds of campus life brought her a comfort she had been missing, and she threw herself into her studies and social life with renewed vigor. She reconnected with old friends, made new ones, and found joy in the simple pleasures of student life.
But as the weeks turned into months, Aurora began to feel a twinge of guilt as she always avoided Luca’s. On the other side Luca’s missed Aurora presence and her voice.
One day, Lucas reached out to Aurora and asked her to meet him at a coffee shop. As they sat across from each other, the tension between them was palpable. Lucas speaks with Aurora and tries to make her feel comfortable around him.
Later Lucas asked Aurora to meet him for once a week and Aurora agreed to it and because of Luca’s efforts Aurora started to realized that she had been running from her problems instead of facing them head-on.
She liked Lucas previously as a friend and so she wanted to make their marriage work, but she also needed to set boundaries and carve out her own space within their relationship.
One day Aurora sat in the crowded auditorium, waiting for the ceremony to begin. It had been exactly one month since she had seen her husband Lucas, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement at the thought of Luca’s coming as a guest to her college anniversary function.
As the lights dimmed and the band began to play, Aurora scanned the room eagerly, hoping to catch a glimpse of Lucas. She had missed him terribly during the past month, as he had been away on a business trip.
Due to Crowd and as lights are dimmed, she couldn’t see anything as she sat in the last row. Just as Aurora was starting to lose hope of seeing Lucas, she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Turning around, she was met with the sight of her husband, looking handsome as ever in his crisp suit and tie with a cap. A smile spread across her face as she stood up to greet him and subconsciously throwing her arms around him in a tight hug.
Tears of joy welling up in her eyes, she thought “I've missed you so much,". Luca’s asked her “Were you happy to see me”. As she didn’t reply to him but by seeing the smile that spread across her face he understood her feelings and gave a sweet kiss to Aurora's forehead.
Aurora couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness and contentment. Later Luca’s told Aurora that he will meet her again after the event and he went outside the auditorium and came back to stage as a guest.
Throughout the ceremony, Aurora felt a sense of pride swell within her as she reflected on her college achievements. Lucas watched her with adoring eyes, applauding, and cheering along with the rest of the audience.
