_Kaleu_

The moment of my coronation was approaching, and I was already very anxious. My wolf, then, is always asking me to transform... I feel something strange in my chest, something out of the ordinary. It's like a burning flame that never goes out!

I was getting ready when I heard a noise at the door of my room. I finished putting on my suit and went to answer.

Kira- Hi son, how I missed you!

It was the housekeeper. I missed her so much, my second mother... She looked even more beautiful with her hair turning gray and her radiant and affectionate smile, I went to her and hugged her with a smile of joy.

A light began to radiate from her and her hair started turning white.

Kaleu- How did you...

The light grew gradually forcing me to put my arms in front of my eyes, as it was becoming more intense. It was the same red light that hit me in my succession and now I remembered the light that hit me when we were children, it was the same light...

She was transforming while screaming, the pain was tremendous and I felt every particle of her pain. When she finally transformed I couldn't believe what I see, she was so beautiful, so magnificent. I never thought such a wolf could exist, she had the aura of royalty!

Diana- You are very handsome too, wolf.

Kal- I'll never measure up to you, mate...

Great, now they were having an unconventional conversation.

She started running through the forest, which snapped me out of my trance, I immediately transformed and started running after her.

The hunt began...

Even though I know I should reject her, I just can't. She's so beautiful...

I made a strategy, taking a shortcut and jumped on top of her making us both roll in the snow.

I said in a mental connection already quite stressed:

That hurt more than anything...

I blocked him in my subconscious and when she finally transformed I said the damn words.

Kaleu- I, Kaleu of Rize, reject you as my mate...

Damn, that hurt more than infinite stabs. She was in front of me, so beautiful with her white hair, her sharp gaze and her damn scent that intoxicated me.

A tremendous pain took over her and all I could do was run... Run from my feelings and run from this bond, just like when we were kids. But now it hurt too much, I felt my body burning and all of my being yearning for her...

You can call me a coward, I don't care, but I prefer to feel this pain than to have to share life with someone so evil that made his own sister suffer from childhood.

Since that bitter night I haven't had a moment's peace, Kal cursed me with every possible name and then locked himself away and refused to come out. I tried to make a mental connection with her but I couldn't, I found out her name is Anastasia.

I am brought back to reality when Hellen comes into my office and jumps on me while showering me with kisses. If it were before I would have responded more but for some reason, now it disgusts me... I try to push her away gently, but she insists on kisses so in a moment of rage, I find myself throwing her to the ground with force!

Kal- I DON'T WANT THIS DAMNED WOMAN TOUCHING US!

Kaleu- Damn, Kal what did you do?

Kal- Go f**k yourself!

He disappears again, leaving me with a mess to handle.

Hellen- What was that, Kaleu?

She said getting up completely exalted.

Kaleu- I'm sorry, it was Kal... He's not happy with our relationship because of the mate bond.

Hellen- You need to resolve this before we mark each other.

Kaleu- I'll have a serious talk with him...

In the hallway, I was stopped by Alec who looked at me in astonishment... He also didn't like the fact that I rejected my mate, but being my beta and friend he just gave his honest opinion.

Alec- Where are you going so stressed out?

Kaleu- Help me! I don't know what to do...

Alec- Has the pack been attacked?

Kaleu- No, I can't be with Hellen...

Alec- Damn it! I warned you. You won't forget your mate, man, even if centuries go by...

Kaleu- Don't stress me out more than I already am, man!

I went irritated to my room and locked myself in until dinner time. I couldn't bear that pain anymore, I could only think of her...

I tried once again to connect with her, but she completely shut me out.

Dinner time came and I went to take a bath and get ready. I went down to the dining room and when I sat down, I felt the atmosphere completely heavy... My father didn't speak or look at me, while my mother just stared disapprovingly at me! Hellen's mother Veronica was ecstatic and chattering away while her father was trying to make conversation with my father who responded harshly and curtly.

My life has turned into a living hell...
