Rin woke up cold and wet in the basement, as he got up he tried to open the door and it opened he looked around the house his father had gone to work he went to his room and looked at himself in the mirror, full of bruises in his chest and stomach with some stitches as well. Hands and arms with blood dripping and some old stitches opened up he couldn't feel anything just by looking at himself.
He went to school while listening music and few of his classmates who passed him did not bother to look at him, but even if all the people avoided him, he did have his bestfriend haru they were friends since they were 9 though all treated rin like a outcast but haru never left him he even knew about the abusement rin went thru and when rin couldn't stay at home he would go over to haru's and hary could not do anything about it and felt guilty.
Gradually rin felt that the dead were happier than the living, they are in peace while the living are struggling and suffering in life, rin did talk about this to haru and what haru said to him was stuck in his mind "why do you have to die yet, you are still 16".
