CHAPTER 3

TYLER

As Mark stepped out of the libary carrying his textbooks on his hands. Someone bumped into him as he entered the hallway make his way to the elevator to his classroom. His books scattered on the floor while he fumed with anger at who this early morning joy killer might be, but as he was about to lash out ready to curse at this intruder the handsome boy apologized and helped him to pick the books as Tyler stood up to hand the books over to him their eyes met each other.

TYLER (MC): Hello 👋. (The handsome beautiful boy smiled while looking up, but as their eyes met each other he was dumbfounded. Never in his life did he think he will be see his long time middle school crush in his high school ever again as he lost hope of never seeing him again he didn’t know what to say or how to react as his heart was beating like crazy as if it would jump out of his body)

l am so sorry I was rushing to pick my book from a friend of mine before class starts and didn’t realize I will bump into someone here (He barely took a breath as he usually spoke like he was rapping whenever he was flustered)

Mark on the other hand just stood like a statue as he stared at the most handsome boy he has ever laid his eyes on perfectly built in every way he could imagine. No other than the little nerd he had a crush on and still longed to see even though they never really spoke to each other in middle school.

MARK (ML): Is alright. (Mark spoke after what seemed like eternity as he stretched his hand to take his books from Tyler.) Was it only him or was his ears and eyes deceiving him, he was so happy as he could not believe it. His Tyler as his besty Kim usually referred Tyler to him, attended the same high school with him. He was floating on air as his heart could explode from joy any minute from now.

MARK (ML): Hello to you too. I had no idea you go to school here (Mark spoke up to make the situation less awkward)

TYLER (MC): Tyler on the other hand was over joyed as he heard that soft voice he used to hear then has turned a little bit mature now making his heart skip a beat as he heard it.

Yes I go here now (he replied nodding his head and trying to conceal his excitement)

MARK (ML): Okay I will see sou around he said while leaving a little hurriedly.

TYLER (MC): Hmm (He hummed)

Leaving Tyler there in confusion because this was the longest they had spoken to each other ever since they got to know each other although you wouldn’t really put it that way.

As Mark stepped into the elevator he smiled from here to ear to ear as he felt butterflies in his stomach the after effect of their encounter.
