The people I asked for directions all gave me the same reaction too. There’s no mistaking it, right?
(My relatives are at this kind of place? Really?)
(Haa…That being said, it isn’t like my father is the type of person to make such a thing up.)

(I went inside but just as I thought, it doesn’t seem like anyone is around.)

There must be some sort of mistake on the memo father gave me.

Translation notes
(1) The word used in Japanese here is 適当 or ‘tekitō’ which can be translated as ‘random’ or ‘vague’. In this context, I ended up going with a less direct translation of ‘making something up’.
(2) This sentence ends up sounding really silly in English, but in Japanese Yui says the follow: 「東欧ってヨーロッパの東のこと?」In the first part of the sentence, the word ‘tōō’ is used, followed by the cluster ‘yōroppa no higashi’. As you can tell, while they convey the same meaning, both parts are pronounced differently which makes it sound less stupid and obvious compared to the English translation.
