“We must try our best if we want to beat him,” I said.

“Yes you're right Tom, we'll use the same formation we've used against Father,” Arthur said.

“Okay, I'll be supporting from the back, you go close range, right?” I said.

“Exactly, we have to start now, gain some distance, and protect yourself with a shield or something,” Arthur said.

“Okay, do your best” I said.

I have gotten some distance, so I can perform my best as a conjurer. I projected a MANA shield.

Arthur started slashing with his wooden sword towards Adam, Adam avoided Arthur's attack and pivoted on his right foot to become behind Arthur, and when he thought he was going to get Arthur.

Arthur avoided his attack, and a wind bullet came towards Adam from that direction, he barely dodged it, by kneeling.

And that was what Arthur needed, he knocked him down when he was going to finish it.

Adam turned right and avoided his blow, he then threw his spear towards Arthur, who pivoted to the right and caught the spear, he used MANA to take away his spear, and Adam became now unarmed, but Arthur was open to a physical attack.

Adam tried hitting him on the chest as soon as the spear left his hand, I made Arthur float by manipulating gravity to avoid the attack, Adam was wide open. I removed my spell and Arthur fell on Adam with his wooden sword in his hand.

I wasn't exhausted since I just used three spells.

A MANA shield, a wind bullet, and manipulating gravity.

Gravity was really challenging to use, it took most of my reserves, but I still had at least 70% percent of my MANA.

29% of what was spent was just Gravity.

“What kind of hellish training you made your kids go through, they're small monsters at this point,” Adam said.

“I just gave them those swords, they learned everything else by themselves,” Father said

“Arthur you have to teach us some of those movement techniques, how did you jump that high, you didn't tell us about your wind affinity,” The twin horns said.

“That was my brother who conjured the wind spell, he's a quadraelemental conjurer he also has the 4 higher, he was the reason how I jumped that high he manipulated gravity to make me float, as for me, I'm an augmenter, I haven't unlocked any affinity yet” Arthur said.

“ That's precisely why are we heading to Xyrus, Adam" Mom said.

“ Oh yeah that's great.  " Adam said.

Ada, you got yourself beaten up by some kids that aren't even 4 years old.” Helen said

“It's their teamwork, if went for Tom first things would be different. “ Adam said.

“They got you,” Jasmine said.

NIGHT TIME

“Arthur, we have to get even stronger. “ I said.

“Yes, we're still weak, even though we've won, but Adam isn't a big deal, I can tell, l,” Arthur said

“Yes, I'll leave you now, I have to purify my core currently, what about you?” I asked.

“I'm going to read a little bit more about elemental magic, I want to unlock my elemental affinities” He responded.

After this short conversation, we had  dinner, as for my training, I was just spreading my MANA and reabsorbing it.

NEXT MORNING: ALICE'S POV

“Arthur go wake up your brother, we're having breakfast,” I said.

I just can't stop thinking about my lovely children, Tom and Arthur, they're so cute, and strong too, I am proud of myself for raising such wonderful kids, They're brave, strong, well-raised, and intelligent.

And I'm soon going to have a third kid with Reynolds, would it be a girl or a boy? Only time would determine

But I always have a feeling that they're hiding something from me.

“Mom, Tom's already awake, he was training all morning. “ Art said.

“Tom what did I tell you about training without having breakfast.” I said

“Sorry Mom, I just woke up Early” my little Tom said.

“Angela, Helen, Jasmine, Adam, Durden, and Reynolds let's get going with breakfast,” I shouted to my fellow teammates and my dear stupid husband.

After eating breakfast, I was chatting with Angela while the others were guarding our cart, for some reason I allowed them to.

“ Angela I'm pregnant, please keep this between me and you, I want it to be a surprise for the kid,” I said.

“oh really, that's great news, we have to get you some gifts when we reach Xyrus", Angela.

“You don't need to,” I said. Congrats, Alice, I'm happy for you” Helen said, she was close so she probably heard me.

“Thanks, Helen," I said again.

“it seems like you're building a small army, just how did you manage to raise such wonderful kids” Helen said

“They're geniuses, that's all that I have to say, I knew they were going to be special since Tom's awakening at years old and Art's at 3 years old,” I said.

“wow that's so rare, I've never heard of someone who has awakened at such an early age, but that doesn't explain why are they so skilled, sparring and books don't explain to it that much right, don't you feel they're hiding something from you?” Angela said.

“ I do have that feeling, but I still love them, they mean everything to me and I believe they will tell us everything when the time comes,” I said.

“So that's what being a good mother is?” Helen said.

“I don't know, maybe, I don't think I'm a good mother, Especially when they use their small cute faces, I can't resist it, I'm supposed to be harsh on them, so they could have an easy life when they grow, I said.

“No, you're definitely a great mother” Helen, and Angela told me.

“Thank you very much,” I said in response.
