Chapter 2

Aurora Lupin

These robes are so stupid" Lucy said tugging at the collar of her robe "it makes me look like a box" she said making me and Kiara laugh.

"Not funny." Lucy said annoyed. We all sat down at the slytherin table for lunch.

"I hate them too" Kiara said. "So what are we doing this weekend?" I asked

smiling excited.

Kiara looked bored, "I hate partying."

"I was planning on going to a small party in the common room this weekend but maybe we should just hang out us girls." I said trying to include Kiara.

She's very antisocial and doesn't like partying. There's nothing wrong with that but me and Luc love to party.

Lucy has been my best friend since first year. She's practically my sister. She knows more about me than anyone and I'm so lucky to have

that relationship with her.

Kiara and I just became friends and I do enjoy her company we are just both very different. "That would be nice." Kiara smiled, I grabbed her hand and gave her a little squeeze.

"I want loads of chocolate!"

My first class after lunch was DADA my dad was the teacher so I would always come to class. early.

"Hey dad" I said walking up to the front of the class.

"Hey sweetheart" he said and stood up from his desk.

"I'm sorry I didn't get to see you yesterday he said "how are your classes going?" He asked.

"Good" I said.

"That's good to hear" he said smiling.

Students began to fill the classroom "everyone please take your seats"

I smiled at my dad and took my seat next to Lucy.

"Okay class today we wi-"

My dads teaching faded into the background

as my eyes wandered to the brown haired boy to the side of Me and Lucy. I admired Mattheos sharp jaw, curly hair, and his full lips.

I don't know why I can't stop staring at him. Yes he is very attractive but god my eyes are like magnets towards his body.

Mattheo turned his head to the side looking at me with a big smirk on his face. His eyes moved down my body, his smirk got bigger if that was even possible.

My cheeks grew warm, and I felt myself smile. lightly.

"Aurora." My Dad spoke up, "Care to answer the questions I just asked?" My headed snapped

away from Mattheo and at my father. Fuck I was not paying attention to anything and my dad definitely knew.

Everyone in the class was looking at me. Or

maybe it just felt like they were. "I don't know." I spoke quietly but load enough

for him to hear me..

I kept my head down for the rest of the class

not paying attention to my father teaching.

I stood up from my seat after class finished, students were slowly leaving the class, I grabbed my bag and headed to the front of the class to my fathers desk.

He looked around the room making sure everyone was gone.

"Aurora I think..." he started to talk but he stopped and stood up coming around to me past his desk.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You need to stay away from that Riddle boy" he said looking down at me.

"What are you talking about?" I furrowed my eyebrows together.

"I saw you two in class today. You need to stay away from him, he's bad news" my dad said.

"I was just looking. Nothings going on." I explained truthfully. "Good I don't want you near him his father is a

terrible person."

"I know that but that's his dad you can't judge

him because of his asshole dad." I said. "Language Aurora." My dad scolded. "You can't just judge Mattheo because of who

his father is! that's not-"

"Yes I can! You know who his father is Aurora, he's a psychopath"

I closed my eyes so my father didn't see me

rolling my eyes "you will stay away from him or your time at this school will be over" my father said. "Is that clear?" He asked.

"Yes" I said.

He's overreacting clearly... I was just looked at him and yes we've talked a few times but it's nothing like that.

My classes for the day were over and I went to

the library to do my homework. I was in the middle of doing my Potions homework when I needed a book, so I got up and scanned the shelves for the book that I needed.

When I found the book I had to stand on my tippy toes to reach the book. Before I could

reach it a large hand grabbed it. I turned around to see Mattheo Riddle hovering over me. He held the book over my head for a

few seconds smirking at me before he pulled it down and opened it up. He scanned his fingers through the pages I couldn't help but stare at his fingers lightly pressed up against the book. "Advanced potion making" Mattheo said

reading the cover.

"Thanks" I said quietly grabbing the book out of his hands. I walked back to the desk I was recently doing my homework at. I sat down and opened the potions book looking for the page I

needed.

My attention was pulled away from the book when Mattheo sat down across from me.

He was just sitting there looking at me so I put my head back down to my book. His knee

lightly brushed against my bare knee. I peaked my eyes up from my book looking at him he still wasn't doing anything he was just sitting there looking at me.

"I'll see you around" I said and got up.

"Where are you going?" He asked. "I'm hanging out with a friend" I answered.

"Um ok" he said.

Mattheo Riddle

How could I be so stupid just sitting there staring at her? I should have said something. I wanted to say something. But I just didn't know how. Or really what to say.

I needed to explain my weird behavior and that I was going to say something I just... got nervous? I don't know why.

I went down to the great hall for dinner thinking she might be there but she wasn't.

I finished my dinner and went back to the slytherin common room.

She wasn't there either.

Not that it's a big deal and I need to talk to her.

I stayed in the slytherin common room for hours. I read a book and looked at the fire. It was now 10:23pm everyone had gone to their dorms but she still wasn't back. Maybe she just already went to her dorm.

11:22pm

I sat up from Alex's bed picking up my bra from the ground. He stayed laying down in his bed "you could always stay you know?" He said and rubbed my back..

"Mmh I should really get going it's late" I said clasping my bra.

He knows this is a casual hookup. sex plain and simple nothing more.

I twisted my hair into a low bun tucking it into itself since I didn't have an elastic. "Just stay Aurora" Alex said resting on his elbows.

I stood up pulling on my underwear and skirt. "I'll see you tomorrow" I said and pulled my white school shirt over my shoulders I buttoned the buttons leaving the top few open. "Why'd you come tonight? I mean I'm not complaining but we usually don't hang out on weekdays" he asked.

"I just just felt like it" I shrugged.

"When can we do this again?" He asked his eyes

scanning down my body.

"Whenever I feel like it" I smiled grabbing my tie off the floor putting it on my arm. Alex smirked biting the inside of his cheek.

I headed back to the slytherin common room it was past curfew so I had to be quiet. I slowly snuck into the common room lightly walking towards the girls dormitory's.

"It's pretty late Lupin" I jumped placing my hand over my chest shocked at someone talking to me I didn't know anyone was in the common room.

"I wanted to talk, where we you?" He asked as he stayed seated on the couch resting his arms over the back of it with his legs spread.

"I was with a friend" I said walking closer to the couch.

"Which friend?" He asked.

"I-um-"

"A friend like Adrian pucey?" He asked finally. looking away from the fire and looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"He told me about his time with you"

"His time with me" I laughed crossing my arms.

"Yes his time with you. So as I asked were you with a friend like Adrian pucey?" He said tilting his head to the side.

"Not that it's any of your business but yes." I said.

"Now I don't know what Adrian told you about me but I can bet he's making most of it up" "Is he?" Mattheo asked standing up from the

couch.

"Cause to me what I'm seeing right now, you coming back so late..I doubt he was making any

of it up" Mattheo chuckled. "Oh really what did he say?" I asked I was

furious. I hadn't been with Adrian pucey since fifth year and when I was with him it was the worst sex of my life...

"I'm not gonna repeat what he said because I found it pretty fucking disgusting but I would like to know your side of the story" Mattheo

said I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Why?" I sighed tried of this conversation.

I should be listening to my dad and staying away from him but I don't know Mattheo and it would be messed up to not talk to him just

because of who his father is. "Why not Lupin. Indulge me." His voice was

soft. Quiet like he was bored.

I don't know if I want to tell him these things

but I'm bored too.

"The story's pretty fucking short! Just like our time together" I said really annoyed I was pissed that Adrian was still talking about what

happened between us two years ago did he have nothing better to talk about? "Tell me more I'm intrigued" Mattheo said

sitting on the arm of the couch placing his hand on his thighs.

"Not much to tell." I scoffed remembering that night.

"I went to a party my fifth year and got drunk and made a stupid decision to have sex with

a boy who had no idea what he was doing" I

laughed at the painfully awkward truth. "That's the whole story we had sex once it lasted for a "bad" three minutes that somehow felt like the worst hour of my life" I envisioned

the "bad"

"See his comments made me think you two had a wonderful time" Mattheo chuckled.

His eyes gazing into mine trying to pull more

out of me.

"What did he say? I'm intrigued" I said quickly trying to ignore the feeling in my stomach from his eyes on mine.

"He said some nasty things that I'm not going to repeat" Mattheo spat standing up from the

couch.

"What did he say? Did he call me a slut? Because I've been with a few guys" I scoffed.

"Who were you with tonight?" He asked.

"You know what this is none of your business and I'm tired from my long night of being a whore" I laughed.

"I ju-"

"No I'm not gonna stay down here and talk about what Adrian had to say about me and how that changes your opinion about me-" I
