Episode 8

Benjamin

I wake up and do my morning routine, go downstairs to have breakfast, and grab the newspaper to read and keep myself informed. Right on the first page, I see the advertisement for a large jewelry collection from Montgomery Enterprise, and I'm shocked by how much information even I didn't know. These journalists are getting more creative every day.

I ask for my car to be prepared and go straight to the office. My secretary updates me on all the meetings for the day, and I tell her that I'm finishing early today and that she should personally make sure not to put me in any boring meetings. Honestly, I'm already fed up, and with this whole jewelry launch thing, the number of models who have been calling and chasing after me to get this campaign is unbelievable.

I have lunch in my office; I'm not in a good mood today, not that I usually am, but I'm completely saturated. I spend my time analyzing many spreadsheets and choosing the last stones to go into production, and so the afternoon ends, and I go straight home.

Since I know I'll be drinking all night, I make sure to eat well so nothing unexpected happens. I have dinner and go to my room to get ready to go out.

I choose an all-black outfit, which is good for camouflaging myself at night...

I arrange to meet Brenner and Heitor there, and I go directly to meet them. Arriving there, we enter right away without any of that queuing business because no one would be able to leave Benjamin Montgomery waiting.

The night is very pleasant; I already order my whiskey to start the night. We are on the top floor of the club with a privileged view of the whole place. I always like to observe everything that happens around me.

It doesn't take long, and the whole place starts to fill up. I couldn't help but notice how many beautiful women were arriving; the boys, of course, were already on the hunt.

Soon some familiar faces started arriving as well, and we were all there socializing. Some women were practically throwing themselves at us, a behavior that I particularly dislike.

I don't know how much time passed, but I've already had at least 4 drinks when suddenly the music changed, and I hear a lot of excited screams and a different kind of commotion downstairs.

When I look over to understand what's going on, I can't believe what I'm seeing. It was her, there in the middle of all those people. She seemed a little uncomfortable with something, but there was no doubt that her beauty drew attention from afar. I stood there for a few seconds, completely mesmerized. I don't know what power this girl has, but she's magnetic, and I simply can't stop looking at her.
